So you're in favour of: * Unilateralism. * Religion mixed up with politics. (I'd rather be shaking a nitric acid/glycerin mix, much less explosive). * Taxcuts for the rich. * Letting women die because of pregnancy complications (aka screw abortion). * etc, etc,...
Let's face it: Bush is a plain idiot. He didn't run any company well in the past, and he ran the US in the same manner.
Or is there still another end of the spectrum? You see, I have some real problems understanding why people would vote for that piece of shit. Sometimes I even think he's going for worst president ever, because he had no chance of becoming the best one.
I think it is ok for someone entrusted with the power the rule that it is inappropriate in a place where my child may be, if I do get a child in the future.
I have a better idea. Why not make an adult section in the library? It can also contain books about how to improve your sex-life etc. There's nothing wrong with that, is there? I just hate these "because we want to protect the children"-reasons, it always gets too emotional (read: mass hysteria) without getting one deep, rational thought.
Anyway, arguing that people in power should be allowed to select what you get to read is not only stupid, it's also quite dangerous. (unless you are in power, in that case I understand you completely).
So here's the plan, grasshoppa: You find out what restaurant delivers pizza's to ESA, you get yourself a delivery job there and wait for a delivery for "I.C. Weener".

Can GNU Ever Be Unix?
·
· Score: 1
The simple fact is that throughout all of this both SCO Group and IBM do have certified products, are licensed to and do use the UNIX trademark in association with certified products with the correct attribution.
You can help us to remind the industry of the ownership of the UNIX trademark and ensure that its proper use as a neutral indicator of certification for the benefit of customers of UNIX systems.
To help, is very simple, all you have to do is to publish the following attribution.
"UNIX is a registered trademark of The Open Group in the United States and other countries."
I don't consider your investor threatening to sue you a healthy situation. SCO is a big old machine that's at the end of it life; everything is shaking, and soon it will just fall apart.
Exactly, it's like driving on the left/right side of the road. It's so banal you would expect no problem in reaching a standard. Yet in both cases it is proven wrong.
For driving I can accept historical reasons, but Gnome is much younger than the 'OK goes to the left'-consensus.
I didn't think the frequency is a resonance frequency. There's a whole band of frequencies that gets absorbed by water, there's nothing special about 2.45GHz. (that's why radio communications are so difficult from a sub).
During the last elections over here, I first checked the party's standpoints on free software and software patents. Not that I decided to vote for them because of that, I was already planning to do so, but if their opinion was "Our computers run on Microsoft Word and it is a very good operating system" or something like that, no chance they would have gotten my vote. It turned out they were the only party to propose free software use and they supported protests against software patents. Sweeet.
I think I'm not the only one checking those things out before elections.
The nesting continues.. At a certain momnet they dont get indented further but wen you view that message, the sibblings are indented ok.. (for the next few levels). or you can check it with 'parent'.
I have always been voting Libertarian president (or several indi's in my youth) esp. since my state is not a swing state. But I think this year it will be close here and I will probably have to vote for Kerry.
I forgive you;).
If I get it right (sorry if I'm not, there's a whole ocean between us), you have a 'winner takes it all' principle. Imagine 10 candidates, and one gets 11% of the votes, another 9%, and the rest 10%, could you get a president that is supported by 11% of the population? What you are missing is multiple rounds, where the last round is between 2 candidates so you can choose safely without fear of 'losing' your vote. More importantly, that way the president will have to get the support of more than 50% of the voters, instead of 'the most'.
So you're in favour of: ...

..but then again, I like to live dangerously..

.. DRM is now officially a buzzword.
Doesn't knowing the pattern change the pattern? So this chaotic funtion is to have a fixed point?
.. one of his inventions (liquid strength).. ...Now widely known as EPO...
The only problem is that is his sun is travelling through my milky way.

Consider it done.
Is she THAT ugly?

They put buttons in the 'wrong' order.. Normally it's Ok/Cancel, with Gnome it's Cancel/OK!
Aaaarg!
Chip readout: 'delivery boy'.
Nooooooooooooooo!
Don't get yourself tired.. use a chainsaw!
I hate it when that happens! ;)
The point was that Beagle2 crashed into Mars... ESA now uses 'crashing technolgy'....
I admit, it sounded funnier when I wrote it down.. 8-)
If they REALLY had a sense of houmour, they would add "using proven Beatle2 technology".
(Thereby applying "it's not a bug, it's a feature!" to a beatle)

I bet I can cook you with a 1GHz signal.

Is it even possible to design a harddisk these days without ingringing on one of the major player's patents?
Is that the future that awaits programmers with those software patents?
NON-OBVIOUS for the user, maybe?
If you ship 2 motor bikes to a remote planet you will only have 2 motor bikes, but if you ship two horses... .. you'll get inbreeding.
