Since photoshop can take filenames as arguments on the command line, that seems pretty useless. Still, I'm waiting for *one* example of how you are potentially going to use that with photoshop, which you still haven't provided.

Huh? Getting fired makes you eligible for unemployment benefits (from the government). Quitting doesn't. If you refuse to sign it, and are fired, you are eligible.

Just so we're clear: are we making fun of the Zune or Ubuntu?
The new Miguel is the same as the old; he started working on GNOME in earnest after physically visiting Microsoft. Another thing that hasn't changed is that he still puts out reams of code instead of just complaining around on forums like me and you (although hell I don't know, with a 4 digit UID you probably put out reams of code as well).
I was suspended from middle-school back in ~1997 or so for bringing it to a teacher's attention that by typing file:// into Netscape, I could get a copy of any file on the (poorly 'locked') computer.
Give me *one* example of some code that 'pipes' something into photoshop. Surely it isn't 'cat/tmp/img.png | photoshop', and I would love to see what the hell you are talking about.
Photoshop can't accept thing through pipes. The phrase "something is a non-sequitur" is common and does not mean "something is a [it does not follow]". Your madlib attempts at being an ass [it does not follow].
Informative? You are mistakenly thinking the DMCA can only be used to send takedowns for copyrighted material--most people at the time of the DeCSS hubub had no problem with that provision. The problem most people had, and have, with it is that the DMCA also says that notices may also be sent to take down things whose primary purpose is to circumvent digital copyright protection schemes (the DeCSS program was the first high profile thing to be taken down-- *it* wasn't copyrighted by the people taking it down, just like this number isn't). The argument under the law will not be whether this key is copyrighted, it will be whether posting it is posting a circumventing device.
The flourescent hue isn't bad, it is the flickering that I can't take. Fortunately, every house in the US I know of has two power lines coming in with at least two phases. I've got all three, and the way I've got my house wired up, I have the bulbs each distributed evenly along each phase. There is virtually no visible flicker, although I do still use incandescent bulbs for task lighting (e.g. for my desk lamp), though with a multi-bulb lamp (and potentially electrifying modifications to it), you could comfortably go with flourescent there too.
If you promise that something will happen, without knowing for sure that it will happen, that's fraud That is not the definition of fraud AT ALL. If it were, churches all across the nation would get nailed on fraud charges every Sunday.
This was designed for third world countries, not the fucking Googleplex.
You don't have individual keyboards/mice connected to each screen (hint: there *IS* a way to do so)
You're right! Everyone who runs a game, also wants to kill their IM client, etc. to do so.
"not even outside of Europe, where copyright is mandatory and cannot be renounced at all"
Nice made up bullshit, bozo.
On another note -- kickass CNN! This is a good deal for everyone (CNN literally gets their logo plastered ALL OVER the place)

when you don't have any customers depending on it.
There is a one liner perl script that implements DeCSS; in barely more bytes than this number occupies.

You do realize that a program is just a number too. Anything digital is.
It not only provides takedown-notice-go-ahead for circumvention tools, it proides takedown-notive-go-ahead for *linking* to circumvention tools.

You read a lot into my comment that wasn't there. I was just pointing out why he was confused.
