    So long as you let government control it, yes.

    What color is the sky in your world? Healthcare is affordable in those countries where the government is controlling it (which is pretty much everywhere but the United States, where it is no longer affordable).

    One year he claims people do not read, the next Apple launch ebooks for iphone.

    To be fair, he said that in regards to coming out with a dedicated ebook reader. He was right, they don't read enough to make a single-task ebook reader worth it for Apple.

    Have you ever actually used any of this crap?

    Time Machine can't even reliably stay connected to a directly attached device. I shudder to think what adding a network to the mix or heavy forbid a WIRELESS network into the mix would do.

    Have you? I have three iMacs running Time Machine, all directly connected to the disk (one a Time Capsule), and have never seen the behavior you describe.

    Sorry but he's just wrong, IMHO. Slightly altering the photograph for a commercial venture, as he did, was not fair use. Even if he didn't stand to gain from it. Not even close. Just because he believes it was fair use does not make it so (the same could be said of my opinion, of course).

    Negotiating surrender? What part of unconditional surrender confuses you? Japan didn't want the emperor touched? Boo-freaking-hoo. Japanese pride when they had no negotiating leverage caused the first bomb to be dropped. Doing nothing caused the second bomb to be dropped. It took two atomic bombs to pry unconditional surrender out of the Japanese. Blaming the U.S. for that instead of the Japanese leadership is just revisionist b.s.

    The TSA has done nothing to make us more secure. Every attempted airline incident has been stopped by passengers and/or air marshals.

    You mean the Federal Air Marshals employed by the TSA, right?
