Try using DirecWay for awhile, and you will be quite pleased going back to your comcast high-speed.
I live in a rural area of Ohio, and DirecWay is all that I have available to me. I just hope that the gov'ner's actions will actually get some wires pulled down my way.
Actually, inside of 90 days, they can fire you for whatever reason they like. Believe me, I know, my daughter does it quite often (fires people, that is, not get fired).
...as iPod is limited to iTunes when it comes to purchasing music online and with Creative's products, you will be able to purchase music from major online vendors. The ability to download and listen music from any major online retailer and the price are what Creative is using as their marketing strategies to compete against Apple's iPod.
If they think that people are buying iPods so that they can download music from the ITMS, they still don't get it. People don't buy a music player because of the options that are available to buy music online, they (usually) already have gigabytes of music on their hard disks & want to listen to it on the go.
Make it look great, make it easy to use, and people will buy it. Simple as that, Creative...
Okay, one of the least expensive embedded systems that I know about is the LinkSys WiFi router. You can get that device for 70 USD (or less). You can get all of the Linux source code for the device and do whatever you want with it. Does anyone know of a comparable platform that is readily available that has more traditional I/O (as opposed to having lots of network ports). I would like to use the LinkSys box for some hobby projects, but I need some I/O pins.
I'll wager that I have the oldest shrink-wrapped game of anyone. I have "Zone of Avoidance" by Casady & Greene,a game from maybe 1991 that requires "Mac Plus or greater". Hey, that means it'll work on my G4, right? I'll get around to playing it someday!
Absolutely! I bought a Dell PowerEdge 400SC without an OS. This is an excellent machine, their "low end" server. Sometimes they have sales on these things & ship 'em out for under 300 USD. Look into it.
A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit over McAfee VirusScan versions 3 and 4. If you are a U.S. resident and you bought a retail version of McAfee VirusScan version 3 or version 4, then you are a member of the class. As a member of the class, you may receive a free download version of your choice of one of the three McAfee perpetual products: (1) VirusScan version 8, (2) AntiSpyware version 1.0, or (3) QuickClean version 4.01 (collectively "Software").
They call the free downloads "perpetual" products - surely this implies that you will get updates?
And for the record, Firefox or whatever the hell it is calling itself this week is one of the stupidest excuses for a software package I've seen to date. It's Mozilla minus most of the features that make Moz useful and extensible. It doesn't run any faster than Moz in resident mode. It performs no useful function I am aware of. The adulation it receives utterly escapes me; it seems to be a prime example of building software for the past. The engineering effort would have been far better spent on Moz itself.
That has to be one of the most inane statements that I have ever seen on/. (that is, among posts that have not already been moderated as flamebait). It is so wrong that I (as are most rational readers, I'm sure) am absolutely speechless...

That movie quote is the first thing that popped into my head when I read the article title. I'm glad to see that I am not the only one to remember it!
Neither of my two older brothers are as smart as I am.
I am not sure why adding a heatsink would be embarrassing. If they find an issue, then they should fix it going forward.
I think they share names (user IDs) with Puzzle Pirates.

The OP says that it "throws a blue screen of death", if that is any clue.
I also have a T42, with XP SP2, and I have no problems (except with my Intel 2200 b/g wifi, but that's another story...).
Go figure.
Here is the link to their free version This works well, and is completely free for personal use.

The Buckeyes are out of town on that day, so there will actually be room to move around the OSU campus.
But hey, any day is a good day to come and visit the USA's 15th largest city!

Dang it! Now I have to clean up all of this coffee that I spit all over my keyboard! Too funny!
It was a joke. You know, ha ha ha. Laugh, it's funny!
For some reason, when scanning the titles, I read this as "Build Your Own Dog Weapon", and had visions of a canon-like device that launched dogs...
Oh, for mod points...
Ha ha ha ha ha, very funny!
