This explains why they've been so aggressive about upgrading peoples modems around the country. There's also been rumbles about them using your modem to broadcast a separate WiFi for years. It all comes together now.
Are you referring to the same jokers who have AOL + Yahoo addresses? Because, c'mon now... The US congress has a GREAT track record of comprehension of the internet!
What are you talking about? This will allow ISPs to fund Internet access for poorer people.
You're not losing any privacy, but your Internet access might become cheaper.
Those fuckers will use this as an excuse to jack up your rates again because now they need to offset the costs of having farm your data for them to sell. You see, this is going to cost them and therefore will cost the consumer. That's ISP math.
The charging pad will ONLY be available from an Apple store of course. Your device will have a firmware "feature" which will cause it to explode if you try charging it on a non-certified Apple charger.
I wouldn't bother... it's not that good anyway. First episode showed promise, but since then it just feels very wooden and overly scripted.
I know Top Gear was always scripted and fake, but the new Amazon version of it with Clarkson, et al. just seems way over-rehearsed and wooden. I was really looking forwards to it but feel majorly let down.
Are you sure you're not referring to Top Gear USA or the post-Clarkson Top Gear?
All restaurants will be Taco Bell because they've always been Taco Bell. There has never been any other restaurant. Just like Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.
That's the beauty of your (and my) Kenmore appliances. Stable technology and manufacturing processes which haven't changed in years. If you're happy about your appliances being flawless after 5 years, you have pretty low expectations.
Do you want your washer to post to your Twitter/FB/txt/whatever when your laundry is done? Or do you want your appliances to work?
I voted with my dollars and my dollars opted for the latter.
The other warning sign for him... all the replacement parts are all new part numbers... almost none of the original parts are listed. They crank them out fast with flaws and then try to fix them after the fact. Just plain horrible engineering!
This is a fine example of MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
Working more does not necessarily mean more productivity. It's especially hard to be productive when you're burning your limited PTO/vacation allotments for unplanned family illnesses rather than... you know... planned restful downtime.
If Amazon wants to SAVE money on shipping, how about they pay attention to the size of boxes and packing material in comparison to the original item purchased?
This makes me wish I'd taken pics of the packaging for the two circle batteries i just received for my key fobs for my car, because that shit was ridiculous!
If history tells us anything, they'll shutter this in 30 months and around 6 months from now they'll shoehorn G+ or Youtube onto this product. Yet again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!
Productivity mysteriously increased at a lot of companies today.
I like your thinking. You're promoted!

"OK, Self. Open the refrigerator and grab me a beer."
Works every damn time.

Are they taking a piece of the donation, you know processing fee or whatever?
You mean on top of the data they're harvesting from you and your donors?
I tell myself that all the time.
"I would kill you but then I'd have to fix your shit"
What I tell our (only) Delphi programmer at work

Much like crack addicts, Facebook addicts definitely experience a more disturbing part of the world than non-Facebook/crack addicts.
People who DO NOT use The Facebook live happier lives.
I'm confident /. has posted dumber shit than this... Need i remind you of the dribble that was dished out during the Dice regime?
That being said, this is some Dice level stupid shit!!!

I'm sure for $59.99 they'll have something that you can use to bridge the technology gap.
(Not trolling... I'm a Macbook Pro user myself and in the same boat as you)
THANK YOU!!!
