    This explains why they've been so aggressive about upgrading peoples modems around the country. There's also been rumbles about them using your modem to broadcast a separate WiFi for years. It all comes together now.

    What are you talking about? This will allow ISPs to fund Internet access for poorer people.

    You're not losing any privacy, but your Internet access might become cheaper.

    Those fuckers will use this as an excuse to jack up your rates again because now they need to offset the costs of having farm your data for them to sell. You see, this is going to cost them and therefore will cost the consumer. That's ISP math.

    The charging pad will ONLY be available from an Apple store of course. Your device will have a firmware "feature" which will cause it to explode if you try charging it on a non-certified Apple charger.

    I wouldn't bother... it's not that good anyway. First episode showed promise, but since then it just feels very wooden and overly scripted.

    I know Top Gear was always scripted and fake, but the new Amazon version of it with Clarkson, et al. just seems way over-rehearsed and wooden. I was really looking forwards to it but feel majorly let down.

    Are you sure you're not referring to Top Gear USA or the post-Clarkson Top Gear?

    That's the beauty of your (and my) Kenmore appliances. Stable technology and manufacturing processes which haven't changed in years. If you're happy about your appliances being flawless after 5 years, you have pretty low expectations.

    Do you want your washer to post to your Twitter/FB/txt/whatever when your laundry is done? Or do you want your appliances to work?

    I voted with my dollars and my dollars opted for the latter.

    The other warning sign for him... all the replacement parts are all new part numbers... almost none of the original parts are listed. They crank them out fast with flaws and then try to fix them after the fact. Just plain horrible engineering!

    This is a fine example of MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
