  1. Not a big deal technically on Tesla Recalls 53,000 Model S, Model X Cars For Stuck Parking Brakes (cnet.com) · · Score: 1

Recalls are just par for the course in the auto industry. This is a tiny one. But for a company that is racking up debt and burning capital, cash flow is vital and recalls are draining $$ that are needed for growth. A large safety recall, if it were to occur, is a bigger risk for them than the large auto makers..

  2. For someone who railed against the "mainstream media", it's surprising that Trump would support a policy allowing the largest media companies to become even larger.

It has zero to do with news. Its an outdated policy that was created back when local was one of the only, if not only choice. It makes no sense today, most people have options.

  5. The 'hearings' you speak of were just a political mess. We all know why Lerner took the 5th, because that removed ties and prevented proof that there was a white house connection. No, they never showed they treated both parties equally, those were claims made by dems that you soaked up. And you don't plead the fifth when there is nothing to hide. I see you are well schooled and have bought in to the excuses though. That tells me you are not worth talking to on these topics.

Personally, I have no problem with any president not releasing visitor logs. They should be released to legitimate investigative efforts when there is good reason (as was agreed by the court in the Obama case). There are too many people 'out to get' one side or the other, and anyone who visits becomes a political target.

  6. I thought non-poaching agreements were found to be against the law.

Such agreements between two companies are generally not legal, but no-compete clauses or similar wording in employment contracts that limits and employee from taking talent with them if they leave are not necessarily covered by that same ruling.

  7. You make hard work of ignoring that Obama DID argue against releasing them, and part of that argument was that it would serve no purpose.I suppose my paraphrase give you enough excuse for dismissal and denial. Of course we all know he just wanted to cover up connection to the IRS scandal, of which Lerner had to plead the fifth for obvious reasons. I'm sure that was all fine with you though. The point is the hypocrites who didn't make a peep when O didn't want them released.

  8. He argued the case against Sloan who maintained “White House visitor records have proven of enormous value to the public" and lost. Maybe you just forgot. Here is just one of the many stories about it to help you remember.

It's wrong on every level. When your big idea is to maintain your cartel status by regulating the competition at every government level it's obvious that your competition is onto something and you are morally and intellectually bankrupt.

The regulations in existence didn't come at the behest of the hotel industry. But now they they must operate under them, they SHOULD use them to protect themselves. Why would they agree to operate under those regulators while a growing competitor doesn't have to?

If you don't like the regulations themselves, then tell us which ones to get rid of and why.

It is an important consideration that those that seek a second opinion often have reason to. It can be that the first doctor is uncertain, or the patient senses it, or the diagnosis doesn't seem right. It is not uncommon for doctors to recommend a second opinion when they are not sure or to make certain before treatment is started.

The next questions is, how often is the first doctor's diagnosis correct?
