    I disagree it was crap. poorly written, derivative, wooden characters, awful research, plot was strait out of a pulp fiction novel. He had no new ideas period. It's like bad Michael Crichton (is there ever good Crichton?).

    I got this hoping for some cerebral cotton candy, I was familiar with a lot of the themes, Fibonacci numbers, secret societies, The Gnostics, reformation, DaVinci himself. I was drubbed with poorly thought out, halfhasardly researched drivel. Brown should of been shot.

    "Terrence Stamp and Wallace Shawn gave spot-on performances." having been dragged to Haunted Mansion by my son and daughter, I was aghast at how trully terrible it was, but you are right Stamp and Shawn saved it from being the worst.

    Razor's Edge was the first attempt at non-comedy Murry ever did, it was a pet project of his and favorite novel of both his and mine. It has mixed results, but it's still one of my favorites.

    I do, infact I run allmost every day. As a example I ran seven miles yesterday and the day before and so on.


    It sucks to be me: all my fathers side of the family died young of heart attacks including him at 60, his first attack was at 36, I'm 38 now so runnings a good thing.
    I'm not a fan of having crap in my ears as I run, and have yet found a playier that was not more distracting then fun to have allong.

    You know this is a perfect example of _WHY_ linux is superior, it was deamed to hackish to live and was unceremoniously booted out of 2.5.x very early in the cycle. Think about it, they realized that it caused more problems including security and remove a feature. Think about how difficult it will be for Microsoft to support this for the years to come, because some customer will demand it back.

    Leave it to a geek to forget that some things are just _PLAIN_ subjective art on t-shirts is just one example.

    If CT was worried about "critisism" then there would have been no Slashdot in the first place. Personaly I enjoy looking at other peoples creations.

    Crist I spent a small fortune on a antenna a Terk tv35 There is NO way to get local HI DEF other then a antenna. Anyways over a couple years even this monster is cheap comparied to cable.

    Imagine maintaining it? would your shiny 50$ router be a dependable firewall? with 2.5.x how about world class VPN/IPsec?

    I've been running 2.5.x on both my station at work and at home. For the most part it's been pretty stable.

    I've run 1.3, 2.1, 2.3 and now 2.5 kernels as they came out and 2.5.5x and on have been a pleasure. I had a 2.1.x kernel eat my file system, I've had nothing like that so far.

    Now the caveat: don't run a 2.5.x kernel unless your willing to lose everything, backup regularly! and most important because I don't think anything bad will happen, be prepared to write bug reports correctly! READ THIS AFTER DOWNLOAD! linux-2.5.x/Documentation/BUG-HUNTING
