    Strangly enough, thats not way I would Build Mozilla. Usualy I use these to get what I want, this includes all sorts of goodys, that are not just font specific. Also I shy away for the "-march=i686" but I do use O2.

    hmm well my TV is 4:3 and does 1080i it's a Panasonic CT-32HX42.
    I would imagine that a tv that does 1080i is hdtv.

    I was not agreeing just because it was Dyson, but because I though Dysons comments where more insightful and credible. Now I allmost always think "Crichton" ideas suck. He allways takes the same themes, and bends them to some easy for the masses Luddite agenda. Personaly I think the "get a fucking life" comment is cheap, easy, and to be honest kinda sophmoric. Not what I would call insightful.

    I realy don't know how else to put this.
    But FUCK YES!
    Accusing Dyson of not having a imagination is like saying water can't be wet.

    Freeman Dyson is one of the smartest people alive. Don't allways agree with him, (in this case I do).
    Only other person with that range of insight is Roger Penrose. I don't always agree with Roger either.
    Hmm come to think of it Penrose pisses me off somtimes but he allways makes me think. :>

    I was on that bandwagon untill Oracle bought it, whe came up with a custom mail server with IMAP/exim/openldap and was planning to incorperate steltor. Now Oracle wants us to buy a whole buch of other crap to to get calendaring. *sigh* Well we still have a _realy_ old version of Netscape Calendar I guess we will stick with that.

    I have had a HDTV (without a tuner) for about a year, I bought a tuner (nice one too)a few months ago and was disapointed,I even bought a fancy antenna. There was only 4 channels that broadcast hdtv and the quality ranged from amazing to _realy_ bad. Left it hooked up but did not use it for a while, then I had it scan for new channels last weekend and lo and behold six new channels! It looks like the local TV stations have been upgrading becase the the quality seemed to of increased also. Now it's worth it, six month ago I am not so sure.. HD is fast becoming "worth it".
