    Is there a vision in MS ecosystem for the home entertainment??? MS had everything to rule home media! But Cortana cannot even play music from my PC - complete joke (keeps moving from Grove music, iHeart radio, spotify - more jokes).

    You can do better, setup a sale every 3 months just in case. If "in case" does not happen cancel transaction and wait for next window. If "in case" happens you are covered.

    Metric is not dead in US - dollars are used in a metric way (cents, dollars)

  13. Another article justifying buying a bitcoin. No one sane trusts a coin that is that volatile. Whole idea behind mining is broken - producing something by running calculations. How are you certain that these calculations are even used for bitcoin and not for something else? If you didn't like big banks and the "system" now you are going towards money used for illegal activities - great trade off. Read about drug cartels and how much money they have to hide. Digital currency is perfect.

    That would be a blow to Google. Without good sources of news no one would go to google for news and they would loose traffic/ads/$$$. People would switch back to a couple online newspapers.

    If I read it correctly, the longer we run bitcoin the larger the cost associated with transactions (network, computation). How is that sustainable? At that point MasterCard and Visa look great with their 2% processing fee.

    If you add time to get a coffee from a shop the saving is even bigger. Making coffee takes similar time for me and for barista. Add time for payment, waiting in line, going to coffee shop - that is easily additional 15 min. Your coffee costs at least $20 + 2.50 in time and money.

  24. The real story is that there is a shift in the media market. People no longer go to TV news and news paper they now go to all variation of fast-food media where source of the message is no longer checked. With the amount of information that flows we no longer can look at them with a grain of salt. In old well established news outlets messages were curated for weeks. Now if you do not post in 10 min you are already late.
