Actually, there is generally one mistake here: company 401k's tend to not have great investment selections and fairly high fees. Be sure to roll all your savings into low cost index funds.
In short, you should have both a Roth and a 401k if you are in the US. The conventional wisdom is that you should save about 10% of your income for retirement. If you rely on your tech IPO to make you rich, well, good luck with that.
Well, if you work at a fairly professional wage, put away a decent chunk in a 401k, perhaps get some company match, the millionaire mark isn't out of reach for most professionals.
Then again, I too have been guilty of riding the startup dream.
"so your hoverboard would constantly flip over as you floated around moving from a state of repulsion to attraction with the magnets."
That's not a problem. Use many tiny magnetized cylinders beneath a hard top for standing. The cylinders can constantly flip, it wont affect the top which can be held in place separately - but they will be able to keep whatever they're holding up afloat. The rider wont even feel the cylinders spinning or flipping.
Innovation lab my ass, pfft.:D
Fuck, why didn't I think of that? I mean, sorry, I already thought of that--my attorney will be in touch with your attorney shortly.
"Investigators were not mollified by the discovery that the devices were not explosive in nature, stating they still intended to determine "if this event was a hoax or something else entirely". Though city prosecutors eventually concluded there was no ill intent involved in the placing of the ads, the city continues to refer to the event as a "bomb hoax" rather than a "scare"."
Hmm.. yes, marketing pretty much == terrorism... but what the investigators really meant was: "fuck it--we wanna blow something up!"
The only issue noted was too many researchers. Well, that's a self-correcting problem, isn't it.
Clearly we need more researcher cage matches.
It would be awesome... "Slasher Jones was just about to get funded when Bubba Nesmith took him out with a rare mutation of the ebola virus. Nesmith gets funding AND a publication!"
This guy wouldn't last 10 seconds at a Guatamalan police checkpoint. 2 stars.
Yes, but has JM ever done anything as cool as this?
As a sort of protest, I released my original track with a new name. I called it "Baby Got Back in the Style of Glee", which I think made them mad. Then people started buying that track, and rating it very highly. It shot past their version in the iTunes charts. And I gave away all the proceeds from that track, splitting it between the It Gets Better organization, and VH1 Save the Music.
you can if you are able to, but I was in the ER and not able to give instructions on who should be able to access information about me...
This is the textbook case for why banning gay marriage is completely unconstitutional under the equal protection clause.
So yeah, bite the bullet and get married, like you did.
You must have me confused with someone else. I'm an orc captain who was stomped on by a walking tree. I'm spending my afterlife debating various topics on the internet.
Wow, so this is what hell is then??
They make you use beta?
But wait! There's more! You may be denied the right to see your loved one if he/she is in the hospital, denied the right to make medical decisions if your spouse is incapacitated, denied tax benefits of marriage, denied healthcare coverage as a married spouse, denied adoption rights... Have I missed anything? Probably.

I'm going to make our programmers code everything in machine language so they can learn to be gods.
Actually, forget machine language, they have to assemble the computer from discrete logic gates!
Come on man, at least give us paper tape.

Also, does it come with an inflatable bench? Because I need one with a built-in bench.
...which is, of course, the elimination of the moon people.
What did they ever do to you to deserve annihilation?
Or engineering or development.

Oh hey, watch it buster. This is /.
My penis is 3 feet long.
When government saves a life, Jesus punches a dolphin in the gills.
So does he ask his father to put the gills on the dolphin first, or how does that work?

And we shall call this world Planet of the MILFs...
I'm sure the production team is already editing in their studio in Burbank...
Having too many people on earth has historically proven solutions.
Generally, you hand out sharp and pointy objects, two or more colors of clothing, and let nature take its course....
Sure pal, you get to be the red shirt this time.
Speaking as someone who's gone for a few years, and now volunteer at the event, I can give you the perfect answer.
So, is it still worth going? I've never been, but it's on my list for the future. Should it be? What's the best (and worst) thing(s) about it?
Thanks.
Each mission member will get only eight minutes of shower time ... per week.
Hmm.. well, the cave people reproduced..
Please not Yakkety Sax. "Officer, I was totally justified--he was disturbing the peace!"
Oh wait, I thought they said Sybian.
Tepco seems to have a lot of experience in decomissioning lately. Just follow their model..
