    There's lots of bad things out there in the world. Shielding your kids from it is largely pointless. You're better off just explaining it to them to the limits of their understanding. That way they don't develop morbid fascinations with anything.

    Except that YouTube Kids was supposed to be a safe place with procured content, and it clearly isn't. Maybe you don't mind exposing small children to this type of crap, but I sure as hell am going to keep it to a minimum if I can help it.

    This idea is interesting, but worrisome to me. In a disaster there's a good chance you might need to get the heck out of dodge after a couple days. I'd hate to see what happens when 1000's of people need to travel away from the emergency but can't because their car's battery is drained from powering their house's appliances.

    A) It was supposed to be funny. Based on the comment moderation everyone else realized that. Clearly understanding humor of any kind isn't your thing.
    B) If the *important* part was the last half of the very last sentence of the summary, then that should've been the headline.
    C) You must be incredibly popular at parties (in case you couldn't figure it out, that was sarcasm). Settle down. Yeesh.

  16. Maybe, but there's a big difference between trying to bate someone so you can get some laughs, and actually calling someone out for being an idiot and spreading lies or fake news. The latter should be done whenever possible to keep that stuff to a minimum.

    Not really. My primary isn't until most of the other primaries have already happened. By that time the candidates have basically already been decided. So yeah, unless your state's primary is in February or March, you're screwed by the crappy choices the Super Tuesday states make.
