    Reminds me of a story. About 40 years ago some engineers I knew got excited by the day trading of that time - in commodities. The fun went out of it when one of them couldn't sell in time and had to take delivery of 40 tons of cabbages.

    As I understand it, the root tool of HFC is being able to cancel orders quickly. Let them buy and sell as fast as they like, but make them stick to their contracts.

    French is written with plenty of consonants. The Parisians seem too hurried to pronounce the ones toward the end. I am told the final consonants survive in parts of France away from central influence.

    On the other hand, their lack of stress irritates those who speak more Northerly tongues, who tend to be more stressed about monetary irregularities.

    I have one of those. It's great.

    The picture on the box it came in shows a half dozen of those coffee thimbles the Italians use. It just about fills up my pre-breakfast mug.

    It is kind of hard to hold the mug steady pouring the mid-breakfast brew.

    The first post-breakfast brew is hazardous.
