    Marketing by nature is deceptive . You never sell what you sell but you create the need ( more often than not artificial) for people . How many car advertisements actually talk about the car?

    apparently so everyone would think we won by valor rather than by cheating.

    Not the case. They did not want the Germans to know that they had cracked it. That would trigger a German redesign and the Allies would lose a critical advantage ( i.e. many more lives ) .

    Why, I wondered, would anyone need a cellphone without a network connection? It was a question as dumb as my simple Nokia phone. A cellphone is a digital Swiss Army knife: flashlight, calculator, camera and, yes, audio player.

    It now is a giant android turd screen whose only use is to make money .. for others.
