    What I was trying to point out is that , if you give access to all information to these folks , this is bound to happen ! . I wonder who's surprised !. Imagine third world countries . Some of them are building infra that can gather public information and in those countries a substantial part of law enforcement is run by criminals ! .

    His attorneys claim that the code is "full of holes," including secret criteria and generic decisions that aren't as individually tailored as they have to be.

    This statement was kinda funny . Unless one of his attorney is named Alan Cox and has a merlins beard ( which is highly unlikely).

    Most banks here now issue cards with chips that cannot be skimmed. So skimmers came up with a new trick: they install a camera or keyboard to get your PIN, then stick something in the card receptacle in order to trap your card in there. Once you get fed up and leave, they'll retrieve it and now have your chip & PIN.

    Wouldn't you call the bank and have that card blocked immediately ? oh wait a sec .. gringotts doesn't have a telephone.
