How will this work? I am assuming it will still function as a regular iPod. But when I plug my iPod (that is, one w/ music on it), in to someone else's laptop, it prompts me as to whether I want to associate that person's library w/ my iPod.
The gist of it is, if I have an iPod with stuff on it, and give it to someone else, they can't have my stuff. Their stuff will just overwrite mine. SO the first time one sync's this iPod, will they lose the U2 shit? The notion of a pre-loaded iPod doesn't make sense to me.
I get my textbooks from a classmate who is from India. a 133$ CDN electro magnetics textbook here goes for 20$ CDN there. it actually costs more to get them shipped (30$/each) then the book itself.
they are soft cover, black and white and thinner paper, but the content is the same and the savings are rad.
I am never buying another textbook from the university bookstore again.
are you complaining? if you want in, buy an iPod, mac or windows, or whatever.
you make it sound like it is your right to have access to the iTMS.
I am 'left out in the cold' for plenty of stuff simply because I never bought in to it. if you really want to use a service, buy the things necessary to take part, but don't complain to us about it if you don't want to invest a little first.

there is nothing wrong with his pronunciation; it is infact the first (ie preferred) one.
one the one hand, you have 10-15 years of great musical output. on the other, you have a guy who is desperately trying to stay a child forever (think peter pan) because of an obvious psychological problem. personally, I don't think you can really blame him, since at such an early age he was shoved in to the spotlight by his father and never really got to grow up. so yes, a few misteps meaning invincible. I don't let tabloid trite influence and tarnish my image of him.
so what you will about avril lavigne or snoop dogg, but early michael jackson (ie. off the wall, thriller, bad and dangerous) are hardly crap. yes, invincible has left something to be desired, but you can't automatically label and lump someone in w/ 'crap' because a few recent misteps.
yea, because the 'real world' is just another matrix which is why Neo still has his powers. he is going to have to break them out of that matrix to really be 'out.' they are really beating a dead horse w/ that matrix stuff.
you totally missed his point. he is referring to digitizing records (read: LPs), and not limiting one's self to the 44.1KHz, 16bit or whatever standard of CDs
People always say "it is better at lower bitrates" but who wants to listen to audio at lower (read: poorer) bitrates? For digital backup, I can't imagine using anything less than --alt-preset standard/extreme whatever from LAME or MPC. And sure, "lower bitrates" might be suitable for Internet radio, but we are quickly moving to ubiquitous broadband world, making a 24kBps or whatever stream quite feasible, making the sacrifice in quality unjustified.
yes, i submitted it too... and even if it was an april fools, it had dlable source, so one would be taken along for awhile before realizing it was a hoax... which is wasn't.

He never actually said "billions and billions" but it would be funny all the same.

on my iBook, under applications, there was an installer directory which had the stuff to install Xcode.
it was called googlewhacking.
my paste came from merriam webster, after checking the oxford dictionary. also, for another source, the jargon file has:
/ji'ga/ or /gi'ga/ pref.

I was a bit bummed over the lack of an MPC option, the best audio format there is :)
how about i pick TV-Out, sitting on my couch, and playing w/ my gamepad?

whoa guys, did you just read that article? it's pretty cool.
that was planet of the apes, duder.
you should have referenced something from the episode where homer is king kong.
a lot of things magically turn in to 'news' on a slow news day.
