Have it like Germany, give out national ID cards that require registering residency. Makes a lot of things much easier from generating voter lists to sending out information to finding people in emergencies. That will also end the patchwork of abusing driver's licenses as de facto national ID.
Then again, knowing the US governments track records they will immediately find a way to abuse that information.
That means that soon we will be running around with two devices in our pockets. One phone that gets supported and one that has a headphone jack. I've been through various bluetooth headphones and they all suck. Either sound is crap, battery life is crap, or the entire thing crapped out after a few months. That even with more expensive gear from well-known brands.
Who is then the person who checks that person's work? And the person who is in charge of creating procedures and checks to detect quickly if one person didn't do the job? Or the various people in charge to check on password security? Those who monitor data streams and stop any data dump to a destination not on the approved list? That was a collective failure. Plenty of people just didn't give a damn.
Take long breaks? Be excellent only at PR and have no clue how to bolt stuff together? Intentionally reducing production because product doesn't sell at that ridiculously high price? Building a product that isn't drastically different than the electric cars from 100 years ago?
The announcement is simply a means to satisfy potentially stricter EPA rules and for PR. So far most manufacturers build ugly or grossly overpriced EVs to satisfy the emissions rules that are applied across all offered models. Add a bunch of EVs designed not to sell and keep cranking out the gas guzzling trucks and SUVs.
Do the Republicans have anything better to offer? I mean, other than repeal only and replace with tax cuts for the rich? The Reps scream for seven years now that as soon as they get the chance they will repeal and replace. And what do they got? Absolutely freakin nothing! All their proposals are so horribly bad that they cannot even get a majority within their own congress members. That's just utterly pathetic ineptitude. By the way, what about all the promises from the Tea Party idiots or the items in the "Contract with America"? Cue the cricket sound....
Are you happy now? And did your PA coal mine reopen that was closed during Reagonomics time? Redeem yourself and put the "genie" back into the bottle...and then hurl it as far away as you can.
That is when the illusion of Apple being a superior company makes "poof", Apple is no longer innovative, they are no longer a computer company, they do well with consumer electronics. Apple does claim they make inroads into enterprises, but that is mainly forced because any company that wants to create an iOS app has to have at least one Mac to compile the code on. With such brute force tactics it is easy to bully into a lot of businesses.
As far as product quality goes, Apple is as good or bad as any self-built PC with off the shelf parts. As far as production execution goes, Apple is utterly dismal having constant delays in delivery for every single product they put out. What is worse, they have all these issues with a very closely guarded and very limited ecosystem. It is not like Windows or Linux that are expected to run on any hardware configuration. Apple made it easy for themselves and that leaves no excuse for such screw ups.
Apple is just one of the many electronics giants in the world. They are no longer special!
The decision needs to be about the technologies and services used. I doubt anyone would object about throttling email. So it reaches your inbox a few seconds later, not a big deal! There may be other services that do not need prime access.
Agreed! Also, brick & mortar failed to develop a set of differentiators, especially that you can browse the store and take stuff home the same day. Beats 2 day delivery even when it is free. Sadly, when I go to department stores these days the choices especially for tech gear are slim, often there is no choice because only one type is sold. What is interesting in all this: Amazon now bought brick & mortar and opens up new stores.
Another attraction for local stores is customer service. I used to be a frequent shopper at the local Target. Bought a watch there once, had a problem with it, they fixed it right there. Battery was empty, they replaced it right there for the cost of the battery (others charge a ridiculous fee like 30$). Last time I set foot into a Target was when I needed a battery replacement again and they told me they no longer do that. Bought the tools and battery from Amazon and watched YouTube videos on how to do it myself. THIS is how you destroy your own company!
....dumping more company stock at a predetermined price, right? I hope that frees up his time to stand trial and spend time in jail for screwing an entire nation. Allthouigh, I bet Trump will pardon him anyway.....
Stopping to use credit cards is not sound advice as it will put you at a disadvantage for large purchases such as a car or a house. Get a card with a reputable banking company, use it for everything, and pay it off in full every month. If you need extra for unexpected expenses or major scheduled repairs get a small loan from the local credit union, they tend to have the lowest interest rates. Not using credit cards will make your FICO score drop because there is nothing to calculate creditworthiness on.
What does lifetime service do consumers good when the morons at Equifucks have to close shop after they get slammed with the massive verdicts and penalties? For them to claim that any of their service is "safe" is like the dentist telling you that you do not need Septocaine for drilling into half a dozen teeth.
For the most part that is due to the cell phone standards. In the beginning not much bandwidth was available and voice was compressed and reduced so much that it was still understandable, but not more. In other words, voice quality on mobile was always craptastic by design. These days you get better results using VoIP on mobile.
Less competition is always bad. If anything, government should foster more competition and make the level of entry into markets easier. Although, I see the need for that more with residential broadband than mobile. In many places there is only one provider for broadband and in many other places none at all. Those places who have two or more, consumers still pay significantly more than in most other countries (who tend to have providers offering better service).

After splitting the brain the person is dead.

99% hype, 1% hot air.

Neither fits a concrete mixer in the trunk...pieces of crap!
A new key after 7 years is too frequent? No offense, but sounds more like an excuse than a reason.

You can always get fired for not doing your job or overstepping your boundaries. Both is the case with Pai.
So far a heckuva lot better than the national and international destruction course Trump is on.
Are you happy now? And did your PA coal mine reopen that was closed during Reagonomics time? Redeem yourself and put the "genie" back into the bottle...and then hurl it as far away as you can.
Especially when it comes at a price that is four times as much as the sum of the off the shelf parts.

...Face ID sucks!
The biggest troll account is @realdonaldtrump. Long overdue to shut that one down!
Which often are fake by paid reviewers. If anything, read the negative reviews. Nobody pays to have people diss the product.
