I'll take exception that Seinfeld is of poor quality. I have seen I love Lucy, I have seen Honeymooner. Seinfeld may well be the best tv comedy of US of all time. What you want to see beyond the joke is the incredible complexity of structure (in season 4-6.) And the uncompremise realism of the situation, Jerry Seinfeld's lighter take nonwithstanding.

Right now the best (technically, 35mm format) camera EOS1, F5 Minolta9 etc can do about 10 frame a second with motor. The digital backs can do only 4. You have to wait probably 2 more years.
And the digital film whoever is pushing to Hollywood is actually worst than film. Hollywood has already replaced 70mm/3D/VistaVision with now standard less 35mm. I don't want them to go even lower quality unless they lower the ticket price.
Exactly, GPL provide fairness game rules, which BSD doesn't. BSD nuts keeps sticking "freedom" in people's face, no realizing an fair game field is more important. Most huge companies don't care about freedom.
GPL aslo has the tendency to push software into academy/public domain, which hardware vendors love.

IMHO Vectus are just not good enough. What I mean is that it won't lure anyone who has already own a respectable system into using it. A bunch of zoom, the vary focal kind.
The main thing of digital photo is that it just can't provide any decent and comparable priced 8X10 and bigger print. (I print mine all in 5X7, try to convince me feeling the moniotor screen is better than feeling the prints.) And I don't aware of a way to turn them into cheap slices.
If you can put up with the Vectus, you might as well buy a nikon top rate consumer level digicam and a good SLR (manual or auto) with some good prime lenses. Look at the Vectus lenses,
22-80mm f4-5.6
25-150mm f4.5-6.3
25-56mm 4-5.6
400 f8
50 f3.5
etc. etc.
Two words, painfully slow. How do you shoot with a tel lense _start_ with f6.3? While the 50mm prime is nice, it's 5 times more expensive than my Pentax 50mm 1.7 and 2 full stops slower. All those zooms start at f4.5, none of them can shoot at dim light without tripod. And the idea of tripod with the tiny Vectus is a contradition. And like you say, it desperately in need of a wide lense (18mm=24mm)
Besides, Vectus uses APS, which doesn't even have 800 film a year ago. SO there goes all your speed. I would wait for next generation $300 ish digicam that uses regular SLR lenses from the big fours. I heard Pentax is going to make a digital back too, which wouldn't be 2000+ pro grade. And frankly Kodak doesn't have big plan to move good digital printers to photo lab. Vectus is the 8-track:)
My libretto 110 runs 3 hours in high power mode and (almost) 4 hours in low power mode. Really.
You can get an extra battery which will double your time, which add up to still lighter than all other laptops (2 lb + 0.5 lb)

Wrong! "Hua Wen" and "Zhong Wen" both mean "chinese( the language)" in chinese. Mandarin is "Pu Tong Hua", or "Guo Yu" in Taiwan. Contonese is Chinese too, okay. There are more people speak Cantonese in New York than Mandarin anyway.

First of all, Dragonball the comic is the biggest comic in the history of manga. It's the batman/superman of manga. And it's better because it ends after the author decide to end it. American comic industry ruin itself by building brand name instead of artists.
The comic pace is much, I mean much more intense than the cartoon. The cartoon is like a rambo animation (just an example, I don't know if there is a rambo cartoon, it may as well be) --it got waterdowned for the lower demography audiance, the elementary schoolers.
Remember time they first know the alien (my idol Vegeta) are coming and all other guys are prepare for them, it takes about 12 episode on the anime? It took literaly 1/2 page in the comic. That was the time anime series change its name from DB to DBZ. Bt the time the comic/anime was so big that we thought they were cashing in with crapa la Batman Forever, who could have thought the best segment of dragonball was in that planet (too lazy to find out the english name for you)

Only problem that work against M$ is that originally MS brought webtv to keep it out of the market. WebTV had alot of discount special before the buy out, after that you can't even notice webtv in electronic store.
