Now these companies are more scared then ever with new private companies popping up doing the same more effectively. Hopefully they change their tune... These companies forget the god their principle KISS in science and engineering. Lol BTW I don't hate them I just dislike that their interest is all based on contacts even if they hurt us.
Apple gives back nothing they only take... What open source projects is apple giving away that matter? What technologies are they funding for the public? The answer is pretty much none... They hurt tech more than they help it. Google might be the "tracking" devil but at least they give back... I think even Microsoft gives back more with their coding camps, contests and challenges. Don't you think one of the most valuable "tech" companies should be leading tech not following it?
Squatters are scum IMO. They target companies, people, names and pre-register names by looking at startups / new companies hoping to hold it hostage for thousands when they bought it for $3. IMO if you don't have a related name or business you shouldn't own it. Not to mention I've dealt with some and they are complete a-holes. Asked for one for $100 they bought for $3 dollars and showed zero visitors in the past year and guess what. They offered to go from $5,000 to $3,000 then get told to accept it or get lost.

What new feature do they have that no one else uses? None.. Why do they still make their base model 16gb when memory is super cheap? Why do they only give you 5gb of icloud space when everyone else gives you 25gb+? iTunes is still the most expensive store out of most of the internet... How about that special cord for 30 bucks that costs.50 cents to make. Androids not perfect.. at least they are trying to help with open source, contests, now they are creating branches for none phones that you can use for free on your projects. Anything you do with apple they try to sue you or take 60%. I don't hate apple hardware I hate apple as a company because they give nothing back and treat everyone like a wallet.
The biggest problem is the big ISP companies "block" the compition. Verizon is about to get sued again because they help block companies like google and now they decided they aren't going to run fiber anymore. That's how your "free" market works lol
Now we are stuck with giant walls of legislation that they created to profit off of. Same with our cell companies, its pretty sad...

They are cheap, they bully and push, bribe and dont learn, they had to be completely hacked 6 times just to decide to spend some money on their 20 year old network. This is a company that makes billions. I can guarantee they made a secret deal to get it.
Its funny how Verizon blocked google fiber in lots of california and now they are ending their fiber, hopefully google and other companies find a way around this.
I run SSD's on all my computers and never had one fail yet and when one does, it takes less than 10 min to get a new one up and running. (Already tested my restore plan with my backups) In the meantime I enjoy the awesome performance and get back my 10 min and money in x1000 from the time it saves lol.
Most of the ones that fail are the cheap clearance, no name ones, the good Samsung and Intel ones are developing a great track record.
But on topic, the rovers are all custom and it's been 10+ years, i believe they already know about this flaw now and they have found ways around it with newer flash memory.
I wouldn't recommend the apple i7's they are having the same issues and running hot, I had a friend's burn up in the first year of owning it and all it did was sit on a cool glass desk which is prime for a laptop. From the reviews they seem to run on the line of hot and too hot.
You have to wait for manufacturers to put their bloatware into it
Then you have to wait for the carrier to add more bloatware
Then 6 months later you get the now outdated update....
I switched to custom roms long ago, I get the update within 24 hours of Google releasing the source.
Moral of the story, phones and android would have a lot better rep if they took out all the bloatware. That's why Google's been changing rules in order to fix this problem. 9 out of 10 times your waiting for the manufacture or carrier for the update.
Most people are not using Lollipop because it's not available yet FROM CARRIERS! Lots of people are running the unofficial roms though. My friends that have Verizon s5's haven't gotten any kind of update notification yet.... My family members that use the latest AT&T phones haven't yet either so talking percentages when the carriers are holding back the roll out is dumb IMO.
I have been on it since the source was released and it doesn't have all the fancy moded in tricks yet but it's looking very promising, I love that it includes tasks I had to use tasker for before lollipop and that my battery lasts longer. IMO the biggest problem with it hasn't been the OS but lazy app companies not updating their apps to be compatible for lollipop soon as it became "official" they should be updating their apps. t's funny how the small teams with crazy complex apps already updated yet the muli-million / billion dollar companies still haven't.
+1 I love play radio and streaming, I still buy music through the play store to support the artists I love. I still sub spotify sometimes for 5 bucks and I tried apple radio and it was a joke IMO. People might be like 2 services are you crazy.. Right cuz 10 dollars for a full month of any song I want is really expensive you probably spend more on fast food lol.
Your information is laughable all top tier cards run hot period, if you have the money to run that card your not going to be run cheap air cooling.... I've never had crashing or overheating problems with any of our AMD cards...
They need to cracked down on tele providers they are the ones that allow spoofing. In voip setup they even let you and show you how to assign any name and number.... Like it's a feature...
I bought a ATI 5770 several years ago for 125 and gave it to a friend and it still plays games on high lol. Video cards even have upgradeable firmware now. They have console controllers for the pc, only time I ever owned a console was when they had really good console only games.
Android is cheaper hardware and app wise... Android can do 100s of things that ios can't. If gives you more freedom, options, carriers and companies. I had apple for years and I don't miss it at all. Can I afford apple? Yes I just choose not to overpay.... I understend why people like apple cut its trendy with the tech impaired. Just like living with the Kardashians....
Att has been great in orange county, Ca. We were stuck with Cox for so long with the old big crappy boxes that die every 6 months and lose your recordings. They also give you more bang for buck because they are half the price. I'm no fanboy as I'm waiting for Google fiber but anything is better than these old school ripoff isp companies. Cox doesn't even have good Internet anymore it's always partly down for maintenance. You have to pick the lesser of two evils right now....
I agree I worked at a company with a certified "oracle" expert that got paid big bucos and man was his code sloppy. Since the free ones don't troubleshoot or debug like Oracle you actually got to plan and do it right the first time lol Not sayin that's everyone...

That's why I sub to Spotify every so often they have offline mode that's pretty sweet though I hear play stores going to do the same soon.
