I agree CM is falling behind in a year they are gonna wish they took Googles offer lol There are some awesome rom teams blowing CM out of the water right now.
Cyanogen should have taken it. Other than old device support they are lacking... Google could cut them off when they feel free to... IMO Cyanogen has been going down since the whole tmobile deal. Stable updates come slower, I've had bat problems with recent builds and they don't support internal firmware of many devices. I can go on XDA and get a awesome rom anytime that includes firmware that works with device special features and get all my extra features.
Don't get me wrong I love the guys.... I think they are starting to get greedy and I myself since years ago have seen a decline in their product. They will get their evaluation one day and the name will die they want to sell out. They donate all the time but the fact they try to force you to pay for official apps just rubs me wrong.
The reason you have to sign into YouTube has to do with laws and not purely Google. They fought it as long as they could and even posted how the change was forced and one of the laws was having a birthday for certain content.
It's not abusing anything Google apps work better and use less resources than the competitors which is 1 reason why they are doing this.
One of the biggest problems with android is manufactures and providers are trying to replace Google core apps with crap that crashes, uses resources and costs more.
This doesn't mean all but most, download a rom without manufacture / carrier crap and only Google crap and your battery life about doubles.
In Cali CFL' and LED's easily pay for themselves and if you buy a decent brand where you can register them they'll replace them for free.
If you buy the cheapest than expect them not to last.... Make sure all your fancy switches, dimmers and detectors are built for CFL or LED. Make sure the CFL / LED bulbs are built for its function. Examples would be outside bulbs, dimmable bulbs and they even have heavy on/off load bulbs. On top of all this if you house has horrible wiring you need to fix it or use the heavy duty ones that are built better. You can get the best deals online as hardware stores always ask a premium.
My friend has a 5 and with ios8 his bat dies faster, his apps run slower and we are thinking about factory restoring it to see if it fixes the issue.. No wonder they gave the new phones more bat life haha. It took forever to upgrade and in the end it still looks the same lol
The lock down means you must use apples program which means apple gets the transaction fees lol This is the main point behind it... nfc is not a complicated technology... and has other uses other than payments as devices including blackberry, windows and android has shown.

You can buy a 64gb micro for pretty cheap and they are making huge profit on it... Memory is cheap these days they even stated they make more profit the higher you go in memory... Btw the reason apple doesnt support SD'so has nothing to do with issues it's all about the money. They have had working prototypes with sd slots before...
Doesn't the apple keyboard not even show when your using caps or did they finally change that?

Not true they just had an article on one of the Android sites how roms, are allowing old androids to run great pretty much till the hardware dies. This is also possible with apple if they allowed people in. They will have to one day whether is in a year or 10 I dunno. They allow things they would have never before like amazon music where they beat them price wise on about everything.
I hold NASA to the same standards and am mad already at them for somehow over complicating simple projects recently. They really need to restructure NASA right now as times have changed.
Apple nfc and the android nfc = the same as is required by the standard. (
Hence why I didn't call one better.) I never had a problem with android nfc except in the ghetto where the card machines were by some unknown company or looked like they fell off a truck

We are both right, as Apple fans put Apple as one of the biggest "tech" companies in the world what innovation did they bring us? Notta it was a phone just to keep up... As much as you can hate Samsung/LG androids they are pushing the limits of the form factor and their screen tech will change the world not just their users and devices. At least in their latest releases they pushed screens / water resistance / introduced heart rate in a phone, etc.. Apple should be doing the same for everyone not just them...
Cuz the FAA is like everyone else in regulation, living with fine dining, high class parties and old people. They have no idea what goes on in the real world or they would of seen this coming a 500 miles away.

Hopefully they have something to combat the new samsung / lg screens that are coming soon.
The top android cameras blows the iphone's out of the water, from what I read they didn't really change the camera much or add more MP so it will probably be the same with this one. Apple doesn't really develop much anymore they basically have to strike a deal or find someone to buy the tech from, that's why they switched to intel hardware with the computers.
My problem isn't the resources, it's how they will cut corners to be first and somehow kill us all in the processes.
They just planned to kill their local fishery and destroy a whole ecosystem just so they can build an artificial island in contested waters for an airport.
They are idiots IMO they will probably find the biggest asteroid and somehow change it's direction towards earth while trying to grab the resources.
