I would say that Microsoft has been paying attention to Apple as well as the Gnome and KDE. If they "innovate" some ideas from all four projects they won't be copying anybody.....
If the universe is going to die, why bother studying it at all? Just when I get it figured out it will be a bit too late. I think I will go back to poetry or something..
Oh, and there has to be something more that this, right? Some kind of afterlife.

The only "Wimps" are the folks who can't concieve a Universe that will end in the horrible "cold death" of infinite expansion. This is what all the evidence leads to.
I was in the Air Force for seven years. The most vocal folks are very republican however the vote still splits about even. There is a larger percentage of minorities, AND believe it or not a larger percentage of Gay and Lesbians than people would think.

I am not really sure what display use it has in the "real world" but it would make a great cinematic effect.
