Know what would work? The 'Dance Revolution' game. (I apologize, the name escapes me...) That's already out and in stores. I think I could stand to exercise that way. Riding a bike, unless I'm actually going somewhere, is not fun.
Actually a while ago I read something about Konami (makers of DDR) releasing an exercise bike and a treadmill that had different games on them. I wouldn't mind the bike but given that I play DDR quite often the treadmill seems a little redundant. Just like this post.
I'll agree that not all DDR players look like they're dancing (me for instance) but have a look at some of the videos here and you'll see that any decent freestyler looks very much like they're dancing, mainly because they are.
When you read this keep in mind that I'm not American, nor did I know anyone in the buildings at the time.
Just after the buildings fell over I saw Roger Ebert commenting on the removal from this movie and the atmosphere in the movie industry about what should be done with already shot footage of the towers. Personally I agree with his idea that instead of running away from the fact that the buildings are gone now by not showing them film-makers should use the computer graphics abilities that exist now to insert the buildings into shots where they would have been seen previously. They were part of what defined the NY skyline so nicely, if you can put them back in go for it.
I don't know if any of you have seen the anime series Berserk but the main character goes around killing people with a giant sword (longer than he is tall infact). Without giving away the ending of the series, I think the lesson to be learned from watching it is don't make giant swords and go around killing people or big bad things will happen to the world.
I caught 6 episodes of this a couple months ago when YTV in Canada did a preview of it with a vote whether it should stay or not. They never released the results of the votes but I know that my friends and I all managed to get a ton of votes in for it, hopefully it'll be showing up on the fall schedule here. From what I've seen so far Neon Genesis Evangelion looks to be fairly similar, ie. kids with mechs, though IANAAE (I Am Not An Anime Expert)

who cares if you get 150 FPs at 640x480x16? How about 50 fps at 1280x1024x32? With full-screen anti-aliasing, 32-bit textures? The eye can tell the difference there, that's for sure. That's a good point, I tend to forget simple things like that in the middle of the night.

I read somewhere how many "frames per second" the human eye can actually differentiate in life but I don't remember the number anymore. I dont think it was anything close to 100fps so why are we paying so much money on our vidcards again?
the two places you can play go online that i know of are igs and yahoo. igs uses different clients or even telnet to play on their servers, yahoo as you may expect is web-based play with java.
A former student of my mom's stacked up boxen inside of a fridge with no door on it. Originally they were all facing out so all the blinking lights would be showing and look pretty but of course that way theres nowhere for the air to go and it would get too hot.
how is cowboy neal going to hug the hellmouth if it wins? no doubt he would be sucked into it in which case i sure hope a cowboy neal memorial award is set up in the 2001 beanies to honour his great sacrifice.
supposing this does actually work, the drive makers are gonna have to start making bigger cheaper to keep up with the demand. at the speed they have on their site i could fill my drive in just under 7 seconds. come to think of it i cant see the RIAA or the MPAA being too happy about this either

I think widescreen's just a ploy to sell more 16:3 tvs.
16:3? Damn thats one hell of a wide tv.
That aside, whether it's a ploy or not there's no comparison between a movie the way it's filmed and a movie in pan & scan.

Check Tron Killer App (Tron 2.0) for more, though not much more.

There's also nAVI which is another hacked Microsoft codec that's used exclusively by the group ShadowRealm (SmR)
