    Seriously, how many developers really 'defect' anyway. It isn't in their best interest.

    So long as there is an install base of the machine, developers will develop for it. (for a time anyway)

    ...because of licensing. They are 1/10th owner of the DVD FLLC. Anything that sells more DVD's increases their profits. Maybe not as much as selling games, but more none the less.

    They already had weapons of the same power. They were replacing the older weapons due to age. The M16's were cheaper than the equivalent semi-automatic weapons and the M16's would have been modified to make them semi-auto. The reason the sale fell through, is they thought they were getting new guns and it turned out the ones for sale were used.

    In Ender's Game. Ender was the primary (Most important) character, and bean was his shadow. Ender's Shadow is the story retold from his shadow.

    Obviously from the earlier books Peter is much more important than Bean, but again we are seeing the story from Peter's shadow's perspective.(ie Bean).

    SOA is the one denying it. They aren't even denying it really. They are saying we will continue to develop for the dreamcast, hardly the same as "We are not stopping hardware production".

    I'll wait till Sega of Japan has something to say. I mean I can't remember the last time SOJ said something then SOA denied it only to have SOJ re-affirm it later...

    Oh yah, they did that with the demise of the saturn didn't they.

    First off it was Sega of America, and there official statement was "We will continue to support the Dreamcast and we have 100 games coming out..blah blah blah."

    Nothing denying that Sega of Japan is stopping unit production.

    In addition, you have to be kidding, these are the people who want WinCE running in your fridge. Microsoft would love to have the all-in-one set top box in every house in america. What company wouldn't.

    Finally, your point is a little bit silly. How has the PS2's addition of DVD movie playing ability hurt the game capabilities of the machine? Oh yah it hasn't.

    ...but rather the creation of a strategy guide that not only almost directly copied (cover and all) the official licensed guide. Fair use doesn't (IMO) cover this.
