It does cost something, it costs time the government could have spent doing something to improve the lot of their citizens. Time sucked up in debate on whether to do it or not, time spent doing it, and the cost of the 'event' itself.
Regardless of whether they do it or not, its silly to think it costs nothing.
What makes you think they will constantly communicate back and forth. Game packets are going to be peer to peer with the players playing and never leave the LAN to hit the internet.
Sure, if you have a fat enough pipe. Of course, then you still have to deal with lag issues,
I keep seeing people say things like this. This is not true. The majority of the packets will be peer to peer and never leave your Local area network. Only the talking to the battle.net servers would go out to the internet, and this will not be happening hardly at all during game play. Having to maintain a connection to battle.net will not lag your game for the people who are connected all on one router,
Seriously though, with the install to HD capabilities of the PS3, and the soon to be capabilities of the 360. Blu-Ray doesn't matter as to whether you can be linear or not.
We're talking about a program that millions of people download patches for without scanning them for viruses every month. Additionally in realistic terms blizzard could stick any bit of malicious code into the patch that wouldn't be identified by any virus scanner whatsoever if they really wanted.
It is obviously not in their best interest to do so.

God of war 1 and 2 were both rated the same as GTA: SA in the US that is M for Mature.
God of war 1 and 2 both had sex minigames with nudity leading up to them that you didn't need to hack your system to view/play.

"Apologizing for a past mis-deed is taking responsibility for doing something that is wrong. "
Yes and nobody should be taking responsibility for doing something they didn't do. For example the current British government.

Game packets are peer to peer, not going up your 2MB line. Calm down Nancy.

The blackberry client works well so long as I'm not moving. If I am signal fluctuates and the music drops out.
It was explained to my wife and I that banking our daughters cord blood would be more beneficial for future siblings than for her self.

Except of course Netflix is going to be available in the fall dashboard update
"Exposing a child to an unclothed human body (of an adult) is horrible parenting and can certainly be psychogically damaging. "
Uh oh, there goes breast feeding, and showering with mom and dad.
Sarcasm aside, you're full of bs. Exposing a child to an unclothed adult is not horrible parenting and is in no way psychogically (sic) damaging.
Where the survey included consensual sex that they regretted the morning after.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Having played Trem and Natural Selection (which is free, but not open). I vastly prefer Natural Selection.
But it still has the same issues that you don't like in Trem.
And fwiw, TF2 is brilliant.
Actually from the article 'polymorphic' is the new bogey man.
Cause you know only viruses and rapists use polymorphic software.

Sure about that? Its a big 'empty' file with random data across it. How do you know which part decrypts and which does not.
