    Except Boeing and the rest of them are now down to only government contracts. Most commercial launches are now done overseas.

    An engineering company would not be gearing up for volume production of their primary product. They would be shopping around trying to sell their design after having proven it.

    And your point is? Elon Musk has never been shy about the help they got from NASA and all the pioneers that went before. Since SpaceX is selling launches they are now more than "just" an engineering company. If all they were doing was NASA related activities I'd agree with you; but that is not all they are doing.

    If you are looking for big dreams Mr. Musk's stated goal is to retire on Mars. You can't get much bigger than that.

    SpaceX has over 40 booked launches for the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy, that qualifies for commercial in my books. It's one of the reasons they are looking for an additional launch site.

    They also offered to make their mailer similar to Netflix's if the USPS would guarantee the same treatment. The USPS refused.

    Notice the only bad thing they had to say about the Lynx was that it drained batteries. It had an excellent Library. I remember being amazed by Blue Lightning.

    So you are scarificing Visual Quality for framerate and physics. Why not buy a dedicated physics card and get the best of both?

    Talking with the local EB store; apparently what happened is that everyone was given an initial allocation, then later Microsoft increased that. At the last minute some big retailer stated they needed more and Microsoft caved in. As a result thye short changed everyone else.

    You will notice that only the large publishers signed on to the law suit. Smaller ones did not. There is a big difference between only seeking a profit and seeking good profits while providing a product. There will always be a place for the vetting and editing of manuscripts. Anyone who reads fanfic knows there is a lot of junk out there.

    If you pre-order at the stores, eb and gamestop, they will sell you the regualr packages. It is only at the online stores that forcethe big packages.

    Actually Netflix has the atvantage here. They deliberately built their centers near USPS hubs, where Amazon built theirs in places with low building/taxes costs and near to UPS & FedEx hubs.

    Considerably more than just one tank was built. We got a completly developed engine, planar if I remember right, several hydrogen and oxygen tanks, a new thermal protection system, and about 1/2 of an assembled X-30. The major, but not only, reason the project was canceled was that our composite building techniques are not advanced enough to maintain integrity under extreme loads.

    It's not Rochester University, there is no Rochester University. The school that did this is RIT (Rochester Institute of Techonology). There is a University of Rochester but that's a seperate school.

    That is nothing Anime Village is releasing Blue Submarine #6 as 1 episode pe disk. However the bitrate is such that every 30min is ~2.2gig long.

    I've been paying bills online for about 4 years now, first through direct dial-up and latly web access. I haven't had any problems. My advice is not to go through a third party. My bank, CitiBank, offers online bill paying; which includes either direct wire transfer or they will mail a check for you. For those who are worried about giving out personal information your bank allready has it all.

  25. What this case is about is the EULA on Jon Johansen on ABC World News Tonight · · Score: 1

    One of the primary things Jon is accused of is the violation of Xing's EULA(End User Licenceing Agreement). It clearly states in the agreeement that by using/installing the program you agree not to reverse engineer. Are EULAs leagal? The law veries from state to state and country to country. What is reveling is if you look at Jon J Hoy's deposition The DVD CCA has come up with direct quotes from the defendents in the CA case that they knowingly and willingly ignored and violated federal law. Reading through this document I find that the plantifs have a superior technical case under current laws. However the moral & constitional questions that this case raises are still very much open to debate. I am willing to bet that the jeudges will find in the favor of the plantifs in both New York and California and then fast track the appeals to the supreme court.
