Cartoon Network needs to spin the anime to a new Anime Network. They could run pokecrap and hamstertron and such during the day, then more action and adult type stuff later at night.
You were there when I saw "Signs"? Sounds like it.
I knew it was trouble when a bunch of damn kids came LEAPING in just as the movie started. The usher marched them out, then led them BACK IN! At least he stood there and made them behave. And told another asshole to turn off his phone.
The last non-kid movie I saw at a theater was "Planet of the Apes". Wonder why...
Dell is about to release a 300mhz Xscale PocketPC device for $199. If they put one of these tiny 20GB drives in something like the Dell toy, along with a couple of CF slots and USB/Firewire, I wonder how much they could sell it for?
Aluminum foil works great when battery terminals will no longer make good contact. Just fold or wad it up and poke it between the battery and terminal.
The original Lexx, with the blonde chick, was much better. The story had a plot and kind of made sense.
It had an ending, too.
There was some nudity and lots of bloody violence. German-type violence, with organs and stuff.
I saw it uncut, on Showtime. The new shows on SciFi are just dumb.
You didn't see the season finale, did you?
**SPOILER**
Thor tells SG1 that the replicators are overunning his planet and he needs them (and their ship) to help save it.
yes from th bod spolling dimanshun.
Geeks are about image
Yes but geeks get laid! Sometimes.
Well, we get more than nerds, anyway.
glut of content

I wish there was a way to rent something like this. I could really use one for a week or two, until all my old Amiga disks were copied over to CD.
After that, it would just be another useless card in a box in the attic...
Let us put this in the proper context for /.
The disks will hold *** 10 HOURS OF PORN! ***
Now, see how simple that is?
It must not be politically correct, or not have enough "alternative lifestyle" types.
Wait, it stars an all vegetable cast, right? No cucumbers?
And they say violence never solves anything.
Wimps say that because they are, well, wimps.

Does a CF TV tuner card exist?
How hard is it to develop for OSX? Do you need a license or something?
This is not a troll or flame, just a request for information.
What handhelds truly need is USB master capabilities. IIRC, the ARM chipset supports USB master.
Wireless has a certain coolness factor, though.
pr0n, duh.
/.
After all, this is
No security. Portable P2P. Let's see the xAA types stop that!
How about just a drive case (2.5 or 3.5in) that is Bluetooth (or 802.11b) enabled? Then you could add your drive of choice.
Maybe a bigger version, with a slim dvd drive and a HD bay?
I love the USB/Firewire drive cases. Record SG-1, transfer it over and watch it during lunch at work for 4 days...
Cool, now we can also have online law schools too. Just what we need, a few million more lawyers.
Maybe Dahmer was just studying (with the occational snack).
IIRC, some handheld scanners had a wheel that you slid along the page. The speed the wheel moved controlled the scan.
If the company went bankrupt, he would just have to get in line with the other creditors.
If they just bailed, he is SOL anyway. No way did they use a real address. Probably just a mail drop.
Or a credit card commercial...
No. There are small magnetic fields all over the inside of a PC (fan motors, clocks, currents on the board and through cables, etc.).

I think Rat Shack carries an Oscope about the size of a probe now.
Has anybody used one of these? If so, how well do they work?
Most people here would buy the $50 mouse that lasts for years instead of the $5 mouse that lasts 6 months, yes?
You must not have kids. I pick up a couple of cheap mice and keyboards at every computer show.
Hell, my boys have been known to break *HAMMERS*! As my eight year old says, "It's not that hard, you just have to whack it on concrete a few times".
