I want a digital camera that will also handle video and sound. 802.11b would be nice too.
Are there any inexpensive digital cameras that handle video and sound? I haven't seen any for under $300USD.
Something other than MPEG-1 video too. The Panasonic AV/10 does MPEG-4, but runs $350+. The Panasonic site doesn't say how much video per MB can be stored, but I would guess about 7MB per minute.

I knew one freak in college who took a lighter to one of those plexiglass front candy machines in the dorm. He burnt a hole all the way through the front, then used a straightened out coat hanger to rake all the goodies into the door area at the bottom.
No, but you do have to pay for the Kickstart ROM, which is required. You can get it off your Amiga, if you have one, but that requires a cable that, IIRC, is more expensive than the ROM.
It really takes this level of stupidity to wake up the idiot masses. When little Jimmy goes to the Pen for swapping Britney trash, Daddy Six-Pack gets pissed and vents on "Good Morning America".
Nothing is going to change for the better until a *LOT* of people get prosecuted. Then the sheeple start to ask is the DOJ might possibly have some better use for their time...
Who the hell are the Alldenta? Some kind of galactic genetic wizard race? Are the Posleen a doomsday device? There were some hints early on that the Darhel had something to do with them targeting earth.
And why aren't nannites used as weapons, or at least remote intelligence devices?
The problem with usenet is storage. Your ISP does not like to store huge amounts of binaries. They clean out the big groups too often, causing parts to go missing. Often finding the missing part can take days or weeks.
Also, breaking big files up and reassembling them is a bit of a pain. It is *WAY* easier to just stick the file in your shared directory. Most users just go that path.
Demand more! More, more more!
"Porn, porn, sausage and porn. Porn, eggs, bacon and porn. Porn, porn, porn and porn".
"Can I have it without porn?"
"Eeew, without porn? That's disgusting!"
Man, 100GB just doesn't go as far as it used too. Stinkin' RoadRunner is too dang fast!
Damn you, USENET and Kazaa! I need a DVD burner!

There's that damn word again!
I CAN NOT believe you said *THAT WORD* in public!

Yeah, I could use some porn. Get the good, Dutch kind. No kiddy or hairy german stuff, OK?
OK, what if someone wrote a player that worked with various audio codecs, via plugins?
What's to keep users from downloading a "bootleg" MP3 plugin?
Check out the "Sparta" series with S.M. Stirling. I think a new one is due out soon.
The "WarWorld" books, set in the same reality, are pretty good too.

Jeez, I haven't played that in years! Should I get get my A500 out of the attic or break down and buy the emulator?
Legislation always lags technology. We all should stop bitching and do like what's-his-name said, start coding.
There needs to be an encrypted, untraceable way to file swap. I have some vague ideas but nothing concrete.

I'm confused. Do we love the actor or hate the character?
(Conventional Wisdom) Wil is OK, but Wesley should be fed to targs. Except for the later "angst" Wesley.
IMHO, Wesley is much less annoying than most people here claim. But hell, what do I know? I like the Enterprise theme song.
"It's been a long time..." 33 more days!

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I hope you faxed them a very large check too. That is pretty much the only way to get a Congresscritter's attention. They prefer cash, though.
Hold a hair dryer about an inch from your arm on high. The laser puts that heat into a tiny area.
You can rent a DVD for a couple of bucks. You watch it a couple of times and that's it.
Music is different. You listen to it over and over. Most people don't watch movies dozens (or hundreds) of times.
Try video out to a wireless tranmitter to your TV.
Isn't Vivendi Universal circling the bowl? They are about to join the ranks of Enron, Worldcom and Martha Stewart...
