I agree it is a proper word to be used. But the connotations that word carries with it usually make people think of some hill in Kentucky and a guy named Cooter uttering it while on his porch whittlin or something.

Warchalking is like walking around with a wireless devices, finding a signal, and marking that fact. Usually that is not done by the people running the network.

eh, not really possible...that's now how the flow works at all, you can't just use any old text editor to create a newspaper. I don't know of any professional (or non professional) publication software that exists for linux..of course I haven't looked.
did you check the link I posted last time? Good spam filtering software that is free. Actually spamassasin is the filtering software....
More legislation isn't the answer, I'm sorry if you are sick of it, but that isn't going to solve anything. There is already too much legislation in the US, and the only people it serves are the lawyers.
I don't think it is a God-given or constitutionally protected right or some such other crap. I think that this is a LONG way down on the list of stuff to do. Lets spend more time enforcing the laws we do have rather than making the system even more screwed up.
expensive filtering software? Mimedefang download I don't like spammers, and don't agree with the methods they use, but more legislation is NOT the answer.
huh, that black bar bothered me for about 5 minutes when they unvieled the "new TNN" (and had that week long 24 hours a day STNG...drooooool) but I haven't even noticed it since then.
I wasn't even aware that it bothered people, it's not like it is blinking all of the time or something...
I wonder how much money MS would have to spread around to combine the last/. story with this one? Everything controlled by MS and it being illegal to not use it.
nod...I gotta agree...I have two of these that form an L in my office. Under the L goes the switch, server, printer, scanner...works GREAT. ESTABLISH ACCOUNTABILITY FOR MEDICAL RECORDS USE AND RELEASE
Penalties for covered entities that misuse personal health information are provided in HIPAA.
Civil penalties. Health plans, providers and clearinghouses that violate these standards would be subject to civil liability. Civil money penalties are $100 per incident, up to $25,000 per person, per year, per standard.
While I don't think those penalties are stiff enough, they do exist.
This makes no mention of places like life insurance companies....the following paragraph is an important one...call your congressman!
THE NEED FOR FURTHER CONGRESSIONAL ACTION
HIPAA limits the application of our rule to the covered entities. It does not provide authority for the rule to reach many persons and businesses that work for covered entities or otherwise receive health information from them. So the rule cannot put in place appropriate restrictions on how such recipients of protected health information may use and re-disclose such information. There is no statutory authority for a private right of action for individuals to
enforce their privacy rights. We need Congressional action to fill these gaps in patient privacy protections.

This is a bunch of CRAP. I am not rich, not by any stretch, I just took a second job so I can afford the things I need for my daughter. Does that mean I am entitled to someone elses money? No. Many of these rich people have had to take out massive loans and spend year after year working/learning in order to make big bucks...and now *I* should take it away from them? I don't think so. And if they decide to save a large chunk of it and give it to thier children...I am supposed to complain about that? THAT is complete bullshit. If you want communism then leave the US..because that is what you are proposing.

I've gotta agree, The only thing I've ever seen that I liked of Ren/Stimpy was the log song.

Sure you can probably bypass it...but that's also probably illegal under the DMCA.

Also, Dr. Lawrence Kugler from the University of Michigan, Flint campus. He teaches math, and does it VERY well.
Says he was drunk. Let's face it...it's much harder to lie (at least well) when you are drunk...and most people tend to curse a lot more.
