  1. Why not just port Hangouts? on Google Duo Video Chat App Arrives On iOS and Android With End-to-end Encryption (betanews.com) · · Score: 1

Was there no iOS app for Hangouts? It seems like Google is just trying to re-invent their wheel. I look forward to this Allo/Duo thing. There's a lot of hype behind it so maybe it will bring something new and useful to the table.

  15. Don't even care anymore on Tor Project Confirms Sexual Misconduct By Developer Jacob Appelbaum (theverge.com) · · Score: -1, Flamebait

SJW's have cried wolf and been "triggered" so many bullshit "sexual misconduct" incidents that the words literally hold 0 merit to me. For all I know, the guy just looked at female employees... or maybe asked them to do some work. Thanks to SJW's I literally couldn't care any less about these things unless I actually know the parties involved on a personal level.

  19. Is this accurate? on Nintendo Shares Plummet After Investors Realize It Doesn't Actually Make Pokemon Go (theverge.com) · · Score: 3, Interesting

Did they really jump-ship for that reason? Nowhere in the game is Nintendo even mentioned. I never did understand the stock jump with Nintendo, though. I figured if anything, Pokemon Company, Game Freaks, or Niantic would be the ones that would skyrocket (assuming they're tradeable companies).

Now I'm seriously confused as to how the stock market works. Is it really full of that many idiots that just throw money at anything without doing ANY research beforehand? The only real tie that Nintendo has with Pokemon is their tie to The Pokemon Company, so why didn't people jump on those stocks?

  20. [...]complaining that Google hadn't also provided them with bathroom access. "We got told not to use the Google bikes as they are for employees only, which was a bit of a shame," another visitor complained.

Really? Who the fuck complains about a company not letting some random outsiders touch their property? Need a bathroom - use a fucking public restroom. Surely there are restaurants or shops near-by that are meant for public use. And the most pretentious has to be that bicycle comment. I mean, if GoogleEmp came wanting to use your bike, would you let them? Fuck no. That's just weird. Get your own damn bike, or go rent one from a public facility that offers bike rentals.

These complaints are completely invalid, and the people that wrote them need to be slapped.

They're purely optional. There is literally no need to spend any money to have fun with this game. it sucks that so many other games have completely ruined our outlook on games that offer optional IAP.
