"[...] phenylephrine simply doesn't work" at the FDA-approved amount found in popular non-prescription brands and it may not even work at much higher doses."

So, they removed products from the shelf that had an ineffective ingredient, replaced it with one that has an effective ingredient, and that is a bad thing?

For Android users, I would strongly recommend My Data Manager. There have been times that it has picked up on system routines using data that the Android data manager didn't catch. MDM matched my provider's chart of my data usage spot-on. The Android manager was reporting 1 gig below where it should have been.

The culprit in this case was "Google Contact Sync" which somehow managed to use almost 400mb one day and almost 500mb the next.

People need to get over this insane paranoia. Everybody keeps pushing this mentality that we're all out to get eachother and steal eachothers' belongings. Doesn't take much to step back and realize that most of us are just normal people living normal lives. Of course, some people are going to argue that being overly cautious is a good thing, but it's just creating unnecessary paranoia and fear. Personally, I think we need to take a step back and really think about what's going on. Have we as a society really changed that much over the past decades? I think the main problem is the connectivity we have to the world, and the fact that our news is so instantaneous. Live updates to news articles and such bring us updates way faster than we're used to and maybe it's making the world seem like a worse place than it really is. Except, maybe pedophiles really are hiding everywhere...? See the first letter of every sentence in this post.

The article itself doesn't say that Google wants the data... Maybe Maybe my assumptions were wrong, but I assumed that Google was asking for their system to be able to probe deeper into the ECM and get access to other vehicle computers - in order to allow apps to use this data, where Apple just wants to know if the engine is on or not. I'm not sure that they're actually asking to phone this data home.
