It's a lot like slashcode, really. Lots of great websites run slash, but none of them have the popularity or following that the original has.

Plus, Slashdot gets to "brand" websites with it's look, feel, and system. No matter how much you skin slashcode, it still feels like slashdot in the end, even if it wasn't intentional.

Read the slashdot FAQ, and you see exactly the same kind of response you would expect. Good luck making your own with just the source!

The point of "Right to Remain Silent" is that you have the right to not give any evidence which may incriminate yourself. In other words, they can't *force* you to confess to anything. You always have the right to "no speech".

The Supreme Court decision just says that while you may have the right to exercise no speech, you don't have the right to completely withold your identity. This in-and-of itself should never be a criminal fact.

Probably the least favorite thing about Moore's documentary style is his insistance that he should be able to walk into any building in the US and get an immediate meeting with the head of the company.

The fact is, CEOs are usually busy doing something, and most of them don't want to be in a movie that incriminates them. The fact that they don't want to answer questions with no preparation time doesn't make them evil.

Exactly why would inbreeding make dogs stupider and stupider?

I must have missed this part of my genetics lectures in College, but as far as I know, most labratory testing species are highly regulated for genetic variance and therefore "inbred".

The reason why "inbreeding" in humans makes a higher rate of genetic defects is because extremely rare recessive alleles are more likely to co-occur in a human born to a family with a higher occurance for those alleles than the population at large (for instance, a brother and sister carrier).
