Back then, they did have color scanners (for it to be affordable, I had to buy one without an electric motor and rails) -- Paint Shop Pro 3/4 is from that time and still my favorite program for quick edits.
The US helped make an old Japanese religion "go away" after WWII which seems to have helped Japanese "play nice" with other people. While much harder, it's time to make Islam "go away" since many of them can't handle it.
Side note: I hate when news anchors use the words: "holy war" -- it's not holy -- maybe a war, but mostly just psychos blowing people apart.
Taser's are known for being lethal (Google for "Gwinett county taser" and something should come up) -- the typical deadly usage is that some officer joins in the excitement (usually an already controlled subject) and tasers the person which causes a natural reaction of a strong struggle, because of the sharp pain which then gets everyone excited which results in more hits and zaps to the subject until the heart stops. Not all law enforcement personel are geniouses when it comes to using a fair amount of force, and I've met others that look forward to cracking some heads open.
I have over 5 terrabytes of purchased DVDs that I'd like to get on HD because some of the DVDs are known for disintegrating in less than 5 years (original Alien collection) and to be able to search for and instantly play the selected DVD (a hobby project of mine). I am hoping that in 10 years or less, retail stores will sell me cheap terrabytes. I know that cable provided "on-demand" would be cheaper, but building this is just fun.
Where does the bone mass go to? Do they have calcium suppliments on the IIS? My pet bird can lose bone mass too if she lays too many eggs and doesn't get enough calcium back. I can't imagine what being in space would do to the poor egg laying bird
Thanks; I'll try that one; CNN does it wrong -- in the description field, there is a ~%50 chance that it will just say something like "Read full story for latest details." where I'd prefer to see a summary or something (which they sometimes do).
One way to learn may be to use MSWord / Wordpad / etc and print to a postscript printer driver that is redirected to a file. Study the resulting files while making small changes to the original document and re-printing. In Linux, you could try to capture PS output before it gets to Ghostscript (I haven't looked at this in years, so there may be an easy way to do this)
I had a 'cd' command on the VMS OS back in the day -- I don't remember how, but try to Google for sample login.com sripts (or what ever they're called)
I wonder if it's possible to catch up to and land on a comment -- even if it is possible, they need to start somewhere and I'm happy that they had success with this experiment
It is nice to see that NASA is making something happen
It's too bad more people didn't take this approach to science.
It also did well possibly because of the parallel port interface connection it used which gave people like me who acquired old machines more storage and OS installation options.
A potential problem is that people may not catch the lesson to be learned about some of these images and recreate them later in life based on vague memories only to receive a strong lesson at that time. These could be removed from general viewing but be made available in specific archives which also discuss what is wrong with them.
If they do the marketing and software parts correctly, they could make it so that the public gets used to finger print scans under the belief that a hash code is generated and saved but later a quick switch behind the scenes could get them full finger print scans, logs, and with cooperation, cross-reference info.
I don't recall the majority of Cuban-Americans including new arrivals saying that the admire Castro.
Many residents of Latin America admire Castro for what he has done for Cuba
I guess,...but I can logically also make the statement:
Many residents of Latin America dislike Castro for what he has done to Cuba ... where many > 6

I hope someone emails this info to their friends at FTC / CNN / ETC.

This article is an in-depth look at a company that's stirred up some controversy on Slashdot in the past.
They should save this quote for any future dupes.
To be honest, I couldn't care less.

After all iBooks were sold, someone should have taken a chair to his iBook.

I agree; I hate taking that right turn into a river.

There would also have to be a tax waiver or extra money to cover the tax bill.

It may turn around strongly in September or whenever people return to school.

If it's an endurance race over a period of years, the Ford will catch up.

You're right but the other guy desperately needed mod points today and knows the easy way to get them.

I bought one this year for $0.86. I like non-backlit black on gold screens for outside writing in the sun.

Kansas would be the place to build new high-rise buildings (if you use that new bendable concrete).
Atlanta has a number of good sized tall buildings, but you can lose sight of them a few miles out because of tree and hills.
I remember Chicago being fun to travel to by car because you could see downtown and still have time to ask "Are we there yet?" 10 times.
