    I like your code better! I think the original script calls for the person to start drinking someone else's half full beer and then he starts to buy his own until he can't keep up with the purchases. I'd rather start with my own beer like you suggest.

    Yes; I do; I have colon issues where me being in the right place at the right time all the time is a good thing for everyone; I drink coffee in the morning because it makes my afternoons more predictable that way;

    I started out on Starbucks / etc, but finally got acclimated to the free coffee at work by adding less and less sugar;

    DVDs look ok (not great) on my 32" LCD TV and look worse on the projector I use. Luckily I get good use out of the LCD TV by using it as a computer monitor and for viewing the free over-the-air digital/HD content (~8 channels) in Atlanta. It is very easy to notice the quality issues of current DVD technology on non-CRT TVs. Luckily, persistance of vision kicks in and I don't notice as much after watching a DVD for 5 minutes. More people will care about DVD quality when these LCD TVs get cheaper and sold at Walmart.

    Back to my original question, why is Bell South so expensive when a smaller company isn't?

  10. Bell South -- too costly on Google Won't Pay Bell South · · Score: 1

    6 years ago when I lived in a rural area, my monthly phone bill was about $15 (Wood County Telcom). I now live in a city serviced by Bell South and pay about $35 for the same service.

    What I don't understand is why Bell South needs to charge more than $15 per month when the cost to maintain higher density networks should be the same or lower than rural networks.

    I hope this serves as an example to legislators in the US.

    People would be much better served to get advertisements via mail directing them to a secure website for credit-card sign up instead of the usual forms that get people into trouble. The blank checks that credit card companies send are just asking for trouble and should be illegal when not requested by the customer.

    My mail-carrier can't see to well and my mail is often delivered to others in my apartment building. I usually get my mail back one way or another, but since it is a large building, I can be guaranteed due to statistics that there are a few dishonest idiots in the building that would love to try out some credit fraud. Hopefully better laws preventing banks from doing stupid things is in place before that happens.

    Russia had more people fight, but they also had more people get killed by far, so some help was in order. No one country could have won this one by themselves; Read a history book sometime to find out about the involvement of the US. It's alright to be a fanchild of Russia, but don't make stuff up please.
