    The Feds' problem is that it's effectively a futures/options market in many respects, and such instruments are to be traded on regulated exchanges. Intrade is not so regulated, thus they are being excluded from the US market.

    Blame the market. When choosing among two or three TV providers, consumers tend to favor quantity of HD channels over quality of picture.This may be because you don't get to see the picture before you subscribe, or it may be that most people wouldn't know quality if it bit them. Just the same, the market rewards carriers who cram lots of 10-15Mb/s streams down their pipes, so they do.

    If the report is accurate, they seem to have been carefully committing misdemeanors like trespass or petty larceny (paper & toner) rather than felonies like breaking and entering or burglary.

    1) "Holographic" does not mean what you think it means.

    2) There is a device called a film recorder which uses lasers to draw an image onto film from a digital file.
    An expert might, be able to detect it examining the film under a microscope.
