I find it very hard to believe that he has survived this long and crossed as many snow covered mountains as he did to get to his current possible location all while carrying a dialysis machine. It seems more reasonable to me that we bunker busted whatever cave he was hiding out at in Afghanistan and neither us nor his follows will ever find his remains.
Certainly there were companies that were ignorant in the 30s. But then there were companies who even after their ignorance was shed continued to do business with the Reich.
Was Google ignorant of China's policies? I haven't heard anyone claim such. A "market of 1 billion" does negate the underlying moral problem. Shooting an innocent man is still immoral whether you do it for free or someone pays you $1,000,000.
Their stand is to aid the Chinese government. No one is saying that they should instead strap on a cape and slip into some tights, fighting evil whereever they go. They should simply not do business with China.
I'm not saying they are of equal weight, but they are two immoral policies by oppresive governments. That Germany was more immoral does not excuse countries that are less immoral. And it does not excuse companies that do business with them.
because of the companies integrity. The same is true of everything. You think that people buy Nike because of their kosher business practices? No, they buy Nike because it's a shoe they think is better than the rest.
vindicate companies that did business with the 3rd Reich too?
I find something to be very flawed with the reasoning that it is moral to enter into an market in which you know your company's actions are furthuring the immoral policies of the government. Trying to absolve one's self of blame just because you are "trying to make a profit" which is "what comapnies do" doesn't seem to be a very wholesome answer.
If we can map the human genome, why can't we map a man's livelihood? If millions can contribute a few cycles of their PCs to the search for a signal from outer space, why can't they join in a coordinated simulation of Friedrich Hayek?
The questions surrounding the "process of life" and the "building blocks of life" have already been hashed out in the abortion debate. The answer is that the mere process or the mere existance of building blocks is not life itself, and does not have to be treated as such.
It also assumes that your population is stagnant or in decline. If your population is increasing then so is your consumption, and you'll just have to keep conservaing more and more.
Since the population of MA isn't in decline then conservation would seem to be a pretty wacky solution to the problem.
When women say "I'm so fat" they are looking for a response something to the effect of, "No, that'd ridiculous."

Anyone remember Unlimited Adventures from SSI? It allowed you to create your own AD&D goldbox games. People modded the hell out of the game EXE to enable more monsters, character races, and all sorts of stuff. And I believe the modding community for Unlimited Adentures still exists (game came out in 1993).
The documentary on them was frightening.
Lots of people immune from STDs here.
eom

"Good service" in this case would be to avoid dealing with China.

Buy a gun.
Anyone know why?
ah nevermind.

The first thing that popped into my head was also Lamark (all I ever had was high school bio, so that might explain it).

With new scenes never before seen in theaters, on Laserdisc, VHS, or DVD!

And tough shit if he doesn't.
You are forgetting the recent infatuation some of our Supreme Court justices have with international law. They trump Congress.
Hint: we're still on our first Republic.
After the civil war I'd say we are on our second.
Is there any software that does this for the PC? Flash the screen all day while you work.
