I, in my own view, am a moral person. But not everyone is. Its those amoral people I want to keep my information away from. If everyone was moral, then we wouldn't have alot of problems: war, terrorism, murder, theft, all these things and more. But the world is not moral. It isn't perfect. Humans are flawed.

As well, I'm not too keen on this "all eggs in one basket" deal. If the user isn't smart enough to keep track of thier logins, they don't need to login.

on tuesday, i was only able to pull up slashdot and the bbc, and i only knew that the bbc was up because someone posted it on /.

after a while, i pulled up surfernetwork and got live news feeds from different stations

you guys did an extraordinarily great job in a time when you were needed most.
my productivity on tuesday went to nill, as i was reading all the posts from the highly intelligent people here, and digging for more information on the mirrors and other sites posted.

again, i say thanks and kudos

so would these guys, because they were passengers as well, before they took over the plane, passengers with a deadly objective, yes, but passengers to the airport nonetheless
and they wouldn't have just had pistols, you can be sure of that. so even if the passnegers had weapons......... the situation could've come out the same way

  6. My take... on U.S. Attack -- More Updates · · Score: 0

    Here's my take
i agree...... that just blindly going in and blowing the shit out of everything we can find that had some association to this event isn't a good idea. But i cannot, for the life of me, fathom letting this slide!! i mean, for Christ's Sake! there is no way you can let a group of people who killed this many innocent lives go on. if we take the pacifist route, turn the other cheek, we will be walked all over, we will loose our freedom. We must show the world that this will not stand. we will not put up with this. but a bullet in the head of every person who was involved is not enought for those who feel that if they die against America they automaticaly go to heaven. we must find a just punishment, to make them feel that they've royaly fucked up the works.
let them feel that they awoke the bear, and it's real fucking pissed

I sit here and think of all the options we have, and the only one i can see that comes out best is the revenge/retaliation route. if someone sees other ways, tell us........ i want to hear it

Reading through the indictment, I saw that this is accaptable due to the fact that it is upholding the law. But I feel that they have the wrong person. If legal action were to be taken against anyone, Elcomsoft would be it. Dmitry was only an employee, doing his job. Elcom decided to sell his work. Now if Dmitry had posted it himself, it would be a different story. But Elcom didn't _have_ to release the software.

Since you brought up Firestone, I've got to go offtopic. Road and Track did some tests on Ford Explorers where they blew out the tires at 70 miles per hour, the driver was able to take his hands off the wheel and his feet off the petals, and the car stoped its self, in a strait line. If People knew what to do in a situation like that, there wouldn't have been that many deaths. Now i'm not saying that firestone's product wasn't faulty, but the drivers' driving definately was.
