  3. refills suck on Anti-Competitive Behavior in the Printer Industry? · · Score: 2, Informative

the refill ink is usually not the same consistency and composition of ink made by the manufacturer - and hence ruins the printhead on ALL inkjet/bubblejets. This is the reason why it is not recommended, and sometimes forbidden to use the refill ink.

with that being said, inkjet and bubblejet printer makers are involved in a cut throat environment, which causes them to sell printers for less than cost. Money is made up from the ink you buy. You didn't think you could get bubble jet or piezo technology for that cheap, did you?

i now see how this can apply to a certain career (especially in the music industry), however, my sarcastic undertones were obviously not strong enough.....

it is my understanding that when the economy is getting better, unemployment drops/interest rates rise. Common for any economics majors, right?

it is also my understanding that when i do my job well, they pay me more money (not less). Of course this can be debated, especially if you enjoy resettling a contract at a lower rate :)

  7. Re:Getting Dizzy... on NASA Still Trying to Verify Anti-Gravity Claims · · Score: 1

I agree whole-heartedly with your statements. In fact, the article even states that they hope to change the mass of objects in order to be able to push them easier in space....

what couldn't be more true is your statement of weight change, as opposed to mass change. The weight (simple the change in gravity of said object toward a centre focal point) may diminish, however matter in itself does not change. (??)
An idea to use for understanding: our weight on the moon is 1/6th of that when on earth, however, our mass is constant. (provided we dont go on a diet between earth and moon.)
