"Look, I vote for the most conservative party in Holland and they're way to the left of your Democrats."
Which is moot considering conservatives want things to stay as they are, or at least, don't want things to change radicaly, and furthermore considering the general political climate in the Netherlands is to the left of the USA, Dutch conservatives are to the left of the Democrats. Still with me? Good.
So this all doesn't mean the Democrats would be far right in Holland, and also doesn't mean the Netherlands do not have right-wing (by American standards) parties. It just means the political climate in the USA is more right-wing than in the Netherlands (or in Europe, AFAIK).
Nothing special.

I believe current versions of flash use esd. So you could also use the esd output plugin in xmms. Or do as I do; (if you're using ALSA and have 2 DACs) run xmms with oss output on the first DAC, and esd on the second, which will be used by flash.

Thank you for taking the time to explain why statistics sucks so much.
Jeah I hate that. So when people say that, I always ask what the second dimension is called. Is it width? heigth? Most of the time they then realise naming dimensions that way is rather silly.

Sure: $0. Yeah, and I'm sure this will be modded as a troll but I've got 9 karma to burn:-) so here goes.
Why do you find it so hard to accept your life is worth nothing to me. I don't know you, I've never met you, I don't know anything about you. If you die I'll probably NEVER KNOW it and even if I do, I don't think I would care.
How is it so easy to place a value on a human life you ask. I'll tell you. Because human life is worth whatever you think it is. Worth is an human concept and can be applied to everything. But the funny thing with life economics is that it's not transverable, I can't take your life and have two. So if you ask "what is my life worth to you" you are asking, "how much money would you pay to save me from death". Well, zero.
This is the first really good reason for the change, because now a new user will feel that instead of just getting another computer like the rest of the world, he's riding the wave of a "exciting new OS".:-)
I'm sorry?
People don't like riding waves of new exciting OSs. They want what they use at work, at school, what their friends use, the OS games are made for, the OS hardware manufacturers make drivers for, the OS that's explained on television, in magazines, etc. etc.

Ah. So there is a difference between "reasonably priced" things and things that are "reasonably prcied for their value". Way to go, buddy.

So it looks like you are arguing both, doesn't it? Fair enough, I don't really care.
So you are saying Macs are too expensive but with a little scheming and looking for *old* models you can get them at prices comparable to *new* PCs?
Or are you arguing Macs are reasonably priced?

Contrary to popular belief, dinosaurs couldn't write. Or in any case, left no notes we have recognized as such.

That's what parachutes are for.

Yeah, definitely, yeah.

Get a clue on real math.
Or base 1!

Point 2 would be "sell it to people to slip it over the bottom of their tv".
Thank you. I do take cheques.

You mean Michael J. Fox has Parkinson's Disease and Magic Johnson has Aids. Let's not confuse things here.

Ok. That does it. I'll modify my filters so I can read just the trolls. Hmm, this probably is a troll anyway.
