>The Firefox project needs to get rid of all of the people who don't code but "contribute" by fucking around with the UI. So, FF team, you can take your new logo and jam it up your ass.
That's exactly how I feel about Firefox itself. *Especially* since Chrome came along and Firefox blindly follows it into "remove all the options and buttons" land. I prefer Seamonkey.
I'm pretty sure the Power architecture was well ahead of Intel and AMD. Apple switched because IBM couldn't/wouldn't get the heat and power draw low enough for laptops.
I like to assume that the energy removed from the atmosphere by wind farms was put there by global warming in the first place! Not sure about local effects though.
I get from "bushfire", ".au", and "New South Wales" that we're talking about Australia, but not everyone will pick up on that. Country should be mentioned.
The general public considers all of those things to be "tanks", but militarily, most of them are armored personnel carriers or armored fighting vehicles. I think some of the heavy, turreted models would rightly be called tanks if not for their modular platforms.
I was also under the impression that Chinese doctors are taught a lot of traditional Chinese medicine...which would presumably reduce their conventional medical training time.
I've been using Mozilla/Seamonkey since 2001. It was the best browser then, and the best now, IMO.
I never cared for Firefox, it's always been a rebranded Mozilla with a worse interface, fewer features and fewer options. This is ever more apparent as Firefox follows Chrome into the simplicity abyss. Also, version numbers - I like them to mean something.
That's one thing people overlook...the USSR had a lot less money to spend and much more territory to cover, so they prioritized quantity over quality more than the US did.
Morals and Military are the two biggies. Most of them think that having a huge, expensive military is basically an entitlement that must be defended, no cost-benefit analyses allowed.
This is good news! I still swear by running chkdsk/f after power loss or hard reset, even with Windows 7...I've had a few cases where there was some corruption and Windows didn't give a warning about it.
Also, it's about time NTFS got upgraded. Extents, checksums, etc. are no longer new and unnecessary.
Yeah, I'm lucky enough to live in an area of the city with parking, but even if I don't use my car for anything, I have to move it TWICE A WEEK to avoid those tickets.
Fortunately, if they do, there's Status-4-Evar to bring it back. Now if only there was a way to bring back the modal search dialog....I really hate the new search bar.
They actually used a question mark, so it's not technically incorrect, unlike all the headlines that say "somebody to do something" when the article or even summary says "might", "considering", or just "thinking about".

Prove to who? He didn't mention anything about defending a lawsuit.
Sounds like a file share to me...
Why did you link to that horrible advertisement of a webpage? Google even gives the Wikipedia page as the first result...

I've always had the same feeling about KDE, the only way I could put it is "too shiny".

Pretty much everything you said are reasons that I use Seamonkey...all the goodness of Firefox without the interface problems.

Well, to be accurate, Arleigh Burke Destroyers have turbine engines and will do over 30 knots.
I would add "shiny" to your "weird". KDE has always felt too shiny to me.

Oh hell yes. I've been cursing slashdot regularly since they ruined the pagination.
>Not to mention the scam of "street cleaning"

Eventually, the Navy hopes to deploy hundreds of Cicada drones from an aerial vehicle, and disperse them to deluge a hostile area with secret sensors.
That actually makes some sense.

My first thought is that China will get it. It might help them a great deal.
