do people even watch tv? i haven't had a tv in years.
Like you, I am too superior for video entertainment. I just meditate and think deep thoughts, unlike TV watchers who wallow in their own filth and poke sharp sticks in their ears.
Our Constitution guarantees us a number of ways to work through government for change.
One of those constitutional guarantees is freedom of speech to say you disagree with what the government is doing. Nothing about that "damages" the constitution.
Don't you understand? Only Apple has ever used inexpensive overseas labor. Android phones are made by happy elves on Main Street America in shops powered by unicorn breath.
Ah, memories! RFNA and UDMH were what we used in Lance Missiles in the 70's/80's. These were aimed visually with hand cranks, a theodolite and a mirror. (a little more to the left) Interesting to see this called "advanced" in 2012.
A story about CMU suing Marvell for patent infringement and you are blabbering about Apple? You should realize not everyone shares your off topic obsession.
I can't figure out what Gordon is arguing, what Krugman is arguing...
They are arguing about continued change from IT (is it over?). The bit about robots was mostly tongue in cheek, as most people might pick up from the "Skynet decides to kill us all" quote.
...and what ninguna is arguing
He's trying to turn Krugman's quip into a/. story.
You can trademark a connector name, just like USB is trademarked. If you want to use the USB logo, you have to meet requirements and get a license (see usb.org for details). Apple owns the Lightning trademark on connectors. You want to call it a lightning connector? You need a license from Apple.
...a million or so anecdotes about TSA's harassment & sheer stupidity, and no wonder they are so looked down on.
They have a million or so anecdotes about passenger harassment and sheer stupidity. Neither is an excuse for bad behavior. I'll take your word that you were polite, but given the general framing of your post you might have sent some unintended signals that escalated the situation.
6 months is way too short of a time to iron out bugs plus insert new features
Fedora has become an experimental technology preview platform. It exists for end users to iron out the bugs.
It did, and we are all now posting from hell.
After a few rounds of Flower (by thatgamecompany) I know I'm ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.
I'm sure the copyright has expired on that opera.
The one marked "people who could not be bothered to order online stand here".

What is best in a notebook?
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their tech support.
They'll never take my pints.

Advertising decades old design ideas never brought to market? I pity the fool that can't enjoy a bit of tech history.

You have either never read Krugman and are making stuff up, or you have and are deliberately lying. That is all.
I can't figure out what Gordon is arguing, what Krugman is arguing...

fearing Apple's destructiveness toward the world...
You can't even parody such over the top nonsense. Apple won't endorse this project, so they want to destroy the world. OK.

I just watched the film "The Acid House". I'm glad it had sub-titles. :-P
