Amazing how many people delude themselves into thinking they can read minds. I'm constantly hearing attacks on the president asserting intimate knowledge of his motives. "The president hates America, the president is wants to destroy America, blah, blah, blah."
I would like to tell these people that they really can't read minds, and everyone would be better served by commenting on actual policies.
'the notion of a shared responsibility in the collective metropolitan realm is predictably distant."
Or maybe it is just an office building and the product is defined by the corporate culture and people who presumably explore the community beyond work and home.
Those funds should come with stop gaps preventing money from being removed from the places they are intended
Congressional representative Lloyd Doggett (D) got an amendment passed to 10 billion (830 million for Texas) of federal education funding to prevent a repeat of this shell game. In April, republicans got a repeal of that ammendment, allowing the scam to continue.
In the latest budget, overall education spending was slashed by billions, mainly because federal funds ran out. Texas increased its portion of education spending to make up for part of that, so the GOP claimed education spending was "increased" even though overall funding was decreased.
More of that Texas "Miracle" Perry will try to peddle to the rest of the nation in 2012.

The core of the matter is the paper was given credence by its publication, which is supposed to be backed by a review process. It never received that, the reputation of the publication was harmed and the person responsible is resigning.
More facts won't sway those who willfully ignore facts. T-bags like Rick Perry and his followers will never be swayed by evidence, only Faux news propaganda.
Chill dude. Steve is not dead yet, and this is only a complete surprise to those not paying attention. Tim Cook, by most accounts, has already demonstrated his ability.
Of all of Apple's concerns, your misplaced outrage is not even a tiny blip.
At least they can look good in comparison to Texas. Not only have billions been cut from education, the State Board of Education's curriculum changes take effect this year. The founding fathers no longer include Washington or Jefferson, mention of the labor movement has been expunged, and the study of important figures like Jerry Falwell have been added.
Like Bush Jr, he is looking to bail after driving his charge into the ground. Now that the federal dollars that propped up the Texas budget have dried up, things are really coming apart. To "balance" the current budget the rainy day fund was used, public workers fired and education gutted. As a result, unemployment is now on the rise (now 8.4% vs national 9.1%).
He's even using the same tactic as bush and trying to get in good with the religious circles to try and get votes.
He is worse than Bush Jr on this, with his connections to dominionists. Shrub focused on appearing religious to get elected, Perry's efforts seems geared to subjugation of government to the authority of radical Christianity.
There is a real Deckard, who was the source for the memories and design of the replicant Deckard. This is similar to Bishop in Aliens and Alien v Predator. The old Harrison Ford can meet a still young replicant Deckard done in CGI like Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy. Yes, Hollywood is full of original ideas.

So they are worried about the truth getting out. That is a warning flag that you are on the wrong side of an argument.

Article speculation: guitars will be seized by Nazi enforcers from individuals.
Warning flag that article is inflammatory: use of "artsy do-gooders only too eager to tell others what kind of light bulbs they have to buy"
