I believe it's up to the parents to handle this. My wife and I love real toys: there's a wooden train, normal playing cars, blocks, stuffed animals... For now, that's easy (our son is only 2+ years old). It'll get harder, but we don't plan on putting him in front of a computer (or is it behind?) for a long time. Especially not as primary toy/entertainment. A Bob the Builder dvd every now and then is more than enough. He enjoys running around with his cars and other toys plenty.
But to jack some prices up over what most new CDs are sold for in stores?
I hope not, here in Holland you pay over 20 euros / 24 USD per album.
Not entirely true on the phones

Nokia 2100 for example, is a pretty basic phone. The only real 'feature' it has is SMS chat. No games, no polyphone ringtones, etc. And I bet there are other phones like this.
Stupid me forgot to mention: yes, a complaint was sent to my bank. My brother sent it. Explaining he was using Linux and SUN Java and that it didn't work. Also explained that Microsoft crippled Java. The reply was somewhere along the lines of "To enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer and for Netscape . If you're using Mac."
In other words: they haven't got a clue what they're talking about.
Great. Our company creates websites for cities. Right now, it's IE-only (which sucks) and I can imagine that in the future it will stay like this. So if I want to develop on Linux, I will either have to dual-boot (to check stuff in IE, since it won't run on Linux anymore) - which is no option, having to reboot every time you updated some stuff - or get 2 machines for every developer - which is also not an option. So looks like I will have to stick with developing on Windows XP. LUCKY ME!:(
Also, concerning online banking: my bank (postbank.nl) already sucks. They used Microsoft specific Java. Result? The whole site works (well enough, anyway) except when entering the security code to complete a transaction. I then get a message saying there was an error starting Java Runtime shit (which isn't true, 'coz you need Java during login already, how fucked up is that?)
...is that Apple makes its service available to all platforms. I'm waiting for it (Linux user) and I would definately buy music that way. I'm not an audiophile and I don't mind a bit less than CD quality. Especially if I can get an entire album for $10 instead of $25 (in The Netherlands).
"Sounds like the Wachowski borthers have gone for an all out action movie which is a shame if true. What I liked most about the original was the way it blended stunning action with a subtle philosphical theme about how we percieve reality."
Or maybe the reviewer didn't pick up the subtle philosophical theme in this one.
Q-Bert on MSX was great, too. I can't remember a day where I had enough of the game. Just one of those games that you never let go of. Well, y'all know what I'm talking about...:)
But then again, like mentioned earlier, their server's will pick up that you're downloading patches for NWN or even playing the game itself from a Linux env.
Sorry for not mentioning: it's on the side. Not on the "heads" or "tails" part. *grabs wallet* Only the 2 Euro coin seems to have it now. Earlier, the 1, 2.50 and 5 guilder coins had it.
I myself am not religious and wouldn't want to state anything like that. But here in the Netherlands we have the same 'problem'. When the Euro came, I thought I would've seen the end of it, but no: on some coins are still (like with the former currency, the Guilder) the words: "God Zij Met Ons" (God Be With Us).
Just the big square (read around it) and the bigger add at the top? Especially for that last one: hard to scroll an extra 30 pixels...:) No prob for me, as long as they truly aren't poppy, flashy and all that sorts...

Possibibly. It's what happens to lots of Philips' ideas.
CD-I... what?
It says "Your information is kept secure." In fact, they keep it so secure, you can't even access it yourself.

So does this mean even more US soldiers will die 'coz of friendly fire?

So, why is everybody overreacting? They just LICENSED the code, not buy it.

Except that... 1 mile is approximately 1.6 kilometers

I'm pretty happy with SpamAssassin, but I'l certainly go check those two other ones out.
I have my SA filter at the end of all other filters, so it doesn't hog resources if I get email from ppl I know.
SpamAssassin
It solved most of my SPAM problems. I get the rare spam in my normal mail box, but the rest gets put away as soon as it comes in.
Unfortunately, most normal desktop users think that if IE doesn't have it, I don't want it...
Too bad it's butt-ugly. Assuming butts are ugly, of course. But hey, it's cheaper than a YOPY YP3500
This is even better than sex!
Word2000 opens faster than it does in windows? I have 1333mhz and 512megs (MDK8.2 KDE3.0.2) and it doesn't open faster with Crossover...

Good thing I read all this. I was about to post:
:(
Either this is really just one screenshot, or the "next" and "previous" buttons DON'T WORK IN MOZILLA UNDER LINUX!
And may I just call that: *English accented WORMS voice* stuuupiiid

www.kazaa.com is a great place to find your illegal mp3's. Disable your cookies and you don't even need to download their software (Win only sucks). :)
