I'm the same way, I look for the free version of the app. Use it, enjoy it, if I can't live without it, I purchase the reasonably priced "pro" version for 2-5 bux, I'll gladly purchase it to support the developers. Other than that it's free apps.
Smart by Google. They pulled an Apple. Do whatever they want, let others sue them. Continue doing what they want with the position"let's see how this plays out in court". By the time there's a judgement, 5 years down the road they'll have everything installed.
That's how I think the original content is drawing viewers. People try 3 or 4 searches. They fail, browse comedy, action. See nothing good. Then go well, I guess I'll watch the original content(always seemingly to be 4 or 5 stars yet when viewed should get a max 3)
That's part of the reason I cancelled my Netflix. Things that were previously on Netflix, was not there any longer. I always had it to be able to access classics, old shows I could watch 100x.
The other reason was the VPN witch hunt.
Yep, I come from a small town. They got a Walmart, local businesses 1 by 1 fell. Downtown core of shops, belly up. Now it's the mall (Walmart is connected to) or online to buy. I'd rather buy from anyone but Walmart.
This is interesting because if you watch any of the nut job YouTube videos of people apparently who traveled into the future. These are topics they discuss. AI controlled decisions, universal income. People re just required to contribute to the city, ie mechanics fix cars, less excited people warehouse. Then it discusses people who don't want to contribute. They get a choice, reform, live in wilderness. Repeated talking too results in them terminated. Interesting views.
During the summer when they discussed this topic on/. about if the car should save the driver or the pedestrian. I said 1 of the higher end cars will save the driver guaranteed. They have money they can afford that extra option. Now someone in a Dodge Caravan, plummet it off the bridge to save the pedestrian.
It's the entitled NA. I've gone to places where it's expected, even poor service. I remember 1 server, our drink order came to say 19, you give $20 at a bar. She goes no, I get $1 per drink tip. That prompted a request for the manager.
That's exactly it. I was laid off from summer job (not high enough in the Union to work through the winter). I had to do similar jobs through the winter to make ends meet. Big jump to go from making 6k a month to 1600/mth. I delivered pizza, booze, moved items with my truck. Tips often helped.
In certain fields such as waitress, you have to report tips. Albeit, nobody reports 100% of their tips. Cash based jobs like pizzas delivery don't either
If my phone exploded I'd be jumping ship. Hell, I owned 2 Samsung phones in the past that the mobo went in each device on average every 4 mths. Warranty covered sure, but poorly built so I jumped ship. Long live Nexus
That's what I do. I like older movies from the 1900's. I'd go on there and watch em. Eventually newer stuff got added. I'd watch them too. I unsubscribed because anything I'd search for was gone. Or they started the VPN witch hunt. Back to ye ol Pirate Bay
Every time I need Skype for Linux, I attempt to install, reinstall, crowbar and there's always an issue with some file that's not the right version that's linked to other major files and won't update without breaking. NEVER have I gotten it on my system. I've always had to install it in Virtualized Windoze
Win 7 + Never10 = Win

My work laptop still runs XP. People said the world would end when support stopped. Yet the Thinkpad lives on
Isn't the network. https://www.google.ca/amp/www....
See what NFL coaches n players think of the new surface. Many many videos of them cursing the piece of junk n tossing it across the field.
If anyone remembers the 90s, the Clintons and WhiteWater scandal. If they weren't indicted then you think they will be now?

Because a majority of Canadians pay a VPN to get Yankee Netflix.
I'd say pfffffft at $900 bucks too. Up it to a million and we'd talk.

What performers are complaining? I've been to 3 concerts in the past year. Not 1 has complained about cellphones, photos, recording.

I feel like the oddball out with my Nexus phone and VW diesel.
Don't Apple owners already have an augmented reality? Carrying around their status symbol everywhere.

For that 16 year old kid who figures out how to hack into it and outs a dancing ass on the billboard all day.

He's better than that Yankee Robot Harper we had.
