I refuse to by Samsung phones anyway. Had 3 in the past and they never last longer then 14 months. S2 (3 mobo replacements) Rugby 2 (mobo died at mth 14, got cheap refurbished from additional warranty) and S3 crapped out. Moved to the Nexus line, no issues. Nexus 5 still going strong.
Samsung has become that cheap BestBuy brand That's always on sale like HP. Where you swear they use used parts on it.
People who listen to it loud just want the pounding bass that you get at a night club or concert. The little tambourine sound in the background isn't important. It's neat to hear that stuff on headphones
Completely agree. When I went I knew quite a few in my course taking it for the sake of going to college. They got their diploma at year 1(year 1 you get a basic diploma, year 2 a better one, year 3 a better). Then they said now they can start their life (family influenced college). They took it because their folks influenced them to go and they just wanted to experience college(binge drinking and partying).
It's true. I worked for Lenovo. For instance say an LCD replacement for tablet or laptop. You pay $300-400 for the tablet 700-800 for laptop (guestimate). LCD part on eBay $40. Repair depot charges$300. May as well buy a new one
I agree. I have various"copies" of software on my PC. Photoshop, Oracle etc. I use em, would I buy them? Nope, I'd just go somewhere like a local college with them already installed and use for free.
Here's the issue. When we bought CDs, tapes you KNEW it was going to be good. 2000s was mostly a CD of 2-3 hits, rest of the cd was rubbish. So once MP3 came out people just loaded the 3 hits and tossed the rest. Put out good products and people will buy. This was proved by Nine Inch Nails. Offering"pay what you want". Many people paid 1 penny for the cd, listened to it, then went back and bought it again for $20,$30,$50 to support the artist. He actually did VERY well using this model.
I agree. The idea to avoid taxation was to put it at such a high rate, this would encourage the Business to reinvest in workers, equipment, training etc etc. Lowering their tax bill and making stronger employees/business. Now it's shellngame if shuffling money, employees need 10 years exp (for a product 2 years old) and usually no obligation contracts
Once they get a total, Apple will dispute it legally and probably end up paying 10% of it as a settlement, then claim how morally responsible they are. Hail Apple.
See, this would impress Android users because they care about this stuff. Apple users on the other hand, just want an extra shiny Apple symbol on the back (preferably glow in the dark and glowing). And that it's the latest model so they can post "omg I got this phone" on Facebook with Selfies.
With their sales falling, profits starting to slow. This is their big move to right the ship or go under. Similar plan they had back in the day. Will history repeat itself?
This was a big issue with Asus also when I worked there. Took them awhile to figure out that it was the camera wire that crossed the battery that was causing it.
"Additional quality control" basically means something MAJOR was found like phone catching fire when using headphones or self destructs if any Bieber song is played.
If it was news relevant to me, sure. But trending news about Bieber, Kardashian, Trump, Hilary is NOT news to a Canadian male. Now, the sad news about Mr. Fuji passing posted by a wrestling group apart of. THAT'S news.
The day a pizza shows up by robot is when I decline the pizza. These jobs are meant for teens or college kids to make extra money. Looks like I stop ordering from Domino's.
I remember seeing this 80s, 90s. Ooooo it was the Russians. Reports say Russians deny speculation. More of the same media baloney.

To keep me safe. #Debian

I remember reading the same /. article it's cheaper to run the status quo, get hacked than to keep upto date on security.

Same here, it upgraded then failed. Lost everything.

I was thinking the same. They tried the same baloney with secure boot. Month later Linux was back on. Or a fancy lawsuit will bring MS down.

Could never get the package installed on my Debian box no matter how much crowbaring I did.

With the size of the population, you would think you'd want more humans dying off.
That's where the right to a basic guaranteed income comes into play. Robots do it all, you just lay in the hammock collecting your cheque.

Silly guy, Ontario is the only province that matters. But you're right it varies from Province to Province.
Also remember Canada has 13% sales tax on top of the currency exchange. There's only 1 currency that people in the U.S know/care about.

How will they handle someone with no social media accounts. Search my name, number, email and you get 0 results. Toss me out of the country?
