That likely has more to do with them earning a better wage than actually having the degree. Though, having the credential likely didn't hurt.

So there may still be hope for this country.

  5. This is a stupid idea that makes little sense. Netflix, you are not a video game, trying to cater to different platforms to make more money. Sure, getting new viewers by making it easy to use whatever platform the audience prefers, is a very intelligent and well rounded concept that has long since shown to be effective. However, this idea seems to stand in opposition to that sentiment, creating unnecessary virtual barriers to content. I shouldn't have to have a smart phone or be forced to watch content on something that is not my preferred device, just to see these different cuts.

    What a farce.

Ok, so we are in agreement that Sanders was very effective at energizing his base. I think its fair to say that Clinton was no so effective at energizing her own base and certainly not effective at energizing Sanders supporters. I think its also fair to say that because the masses voting Democrat were not voting for their candidate largely in strong preference (vis sa vis: not being energized by the candidate), were largely voting Democrat because: 1) they nearly always do so, 2) because they were absolutely against Trump. We also had a lot of Democrats choose to sit this election out. We actually had fewer people voting in this election than in 2012 with an incumbent president.

Therefore, I think its entirely reasonable to say that since Sanders was effective at energizing his base, and would have certainly carried the same people that were voting Democrat regardless and those who were voting against Trump, along with a bunch more people that were quite enthusiastic about the message Sanders was conveying. Trump didn't win by a whole lot in a fair number of states. Adding in this group of people that probably sat it out because the candidate wasn't Sanders, most certainly could have changed the outcome, regardless of whatever the Republicans were attempting to throw at him.

Are you really going to say it would have been impossible for the presidential candidate to have received the most individual contributions ever, had zero chance to win the presidency? So by you claim, people, or more specifically men, willingly choose to not have sex because their partner or possibly other people because they can't find a porn actress level sexual partner?

I'm sorry but that just an incredibly ridiculous claim. The neckbearded browsers of /r/redpill are likely in this group no doubt but they are a very small minority of men thankfully. If people are no longer having sex with their partner due to a loss of sexual attraction, there is a very strong likelihood that much more is going on than just a stronger affinity to other more attractive potential partners. In that case, it would be far too simplistic to make the claim that a person is no longer sexually satisfied by their partners lacking appearance and ability in personifying a porn actress.

When people have money to spend and they actually spend it, it pushes up the economic strength of a country. When money is spent, taxes are being collected to support infrastructure and services, and its creating demand from supplies of goods and services, who employ other people who will spend their earnings on other goods, which all contribute to the tax pool and economic strength of the community and the country.

When a supplier moves their operation over seas, every time you buy a product from that company, you are benefiting their country's economic wellbeing while the infrastructure, services and public economic strength around you crumbles.

Its great that you would want their country to do well, but it shouldnt have to come at the cost of our own countries economic health.

Not necessarily. Define benefit in that circumstance. Less economically wealthy nations tend to be more relaxed on their labor regulations, allowing many of these companies to exploit the labor pool to drive up revenues even further.
