I'm not a Democrat and I agree with you. Unfortunately, the progressive goal - quite stated, especially when you start discussing 'sustainable development' - which is enshrined in leftist policy - is to force people into big cities. The fact that they are more easily controlled in large constellations - I'm sure that's just a byproduct, not part of the design.

  7. But the progressive goal is absolute destruction of anyone who dares to disagree with them. QED.

  8. I've lived in New Jersey and I've lived in Massachusetts. My observation is that Democrats - white ones, anyway - say a bunch of things, but watch what they DO. The white wine drinking liberals all quietly fold up their tents and vanish when blacks move into their neighborhoods. They encourage black girls to get abortions. Feminist colleges in western Massachusetts do a boatload to make women helpless - they can't even use a freaking plunger for goodness' sakes. And they tell straight young women there is something wrong with them 'cause if they're not gay they aren't "real" feminists. No, the left speaks a good line. In terms of actually doing things, they do incredible harm, and cause more depression, disease, despondency, and suicide.

  9. Indeed, this is one of the lies the left has all the time. It's just amazing. THEY were, and are, the real racists.

  11. You have no idea whether this is actually happening - and this other whining is merely a smokescreen.

  12. Oh for crying out loud. You use credit cards, do you not? Don't say "We won't give in" - because you already have. Now, if you pay cash for stuff, encrypt your data securely, etc. I can say "No you won't give it." But for most people? They don't give a rip.

It's merely the left pointing out that they are, in fact, thugs. During 8 years of an Obama Presidency, this didn't happen. Oh, I'm sure there were isolated wack jobs, but not that we heard much about - and given the overwhelming lefty bias of journalism, we would have. But since Trump became President we have insanity, where the left is showing how lunatic it actually is.

  14. My observation is that this is absolutely the case. But I don't know 'all' young liberals or even most of them.

Unfortunately you cannot say that (say) Amazon is the only example of capitalism. Many German companies are very profitable yet have collaborative management-labor relations. Ultimately the uber-vigilante teamsters who want to strike over everything or the uber-employee abusive Amazon are "eating their seed corn" - who on earth would want to work at Amazon at this point given all that 's come out? And UPS will go the way of the "Big 3" car makers if the teamsters continue to get more..and more...and more beyond what their productivity will allow.

It isn't clear to me that it doesn't work on the brain, indirectly, too. Yesterday I read that Canola (rape seed) oil as sold in the US apparently caused cognitive decline and weight gain in mice. Since consumption of canola is supposed to lower cholesterol, I wondered if the alzhiemers that this contributed to in mice might be related to the decline in cholesterol in blood going to the brain. Sometimes I wonder if the way to stop plaque buildup on arteries is NOT to lower cholesterol, but inflammation. And of course, use exercise to help eliminate excess blood cholesterol. But nobody wants a straightforward way to stay healthy, no no.
