    I agree with this one!

  4. Nobody kills more black men then other, non police, black men. Where is the outcry on this? It is absolutely wrong for black men to be wrongly killed by cops - but why doesn't anyone care about the black on black violence in our society?

  5. Exactly. But speaking as a former LEO myself, I'm not sure I like this idea. Specifically, we have a "blue alert" and people show up. Are they good guys who are trying to help -- or more folks who wanna kill cops? No way to know. Just for the record - one of the reasons why I stopped being a LEO was because I thought that the country was moving toward dictatorship extremely fast. I'm rather surprised we didn't get it with Obama - he was way too slick.

  6. Thank you, someone who knows history. The revisionist bozos of today are just amazing.

Get out of San Fran or whatever blue enclave you live in and look at the country. Then again, please, stay where you are, you may do less harm there.

Define productive. Yes, in a good workday you might only get 3 really good hours of productive work - but there's ab unch of other scutt work that needs doing like administrivia that also consumes time. I daresay that the definition of 'productive' matters.

  16. Indeed. And I can't understand why there's this myth that somehow computer code is separate from humans- if anything it's a static representation of the ideas and beliefs of the developer when he or she wrote it.
