Are you sure that the changes is not so much the software but just your perception? I mean I am not at all stating you are wrong, but you have to factor in that generally when people get older they look more into familiarity versus functionality. The younger generation is willing to try out new things while the older generation would prefer to know how to do things as they were done before. The reason why I state this is because I am still noticing an increase of capabilities of software/OSs over time and I remember that even back in the late 90s early 2000s there was still bugs and issues with new releases. That and being able to "do more" lead to more bugs and bloat, regardless of back then or nowadays.

  6. The whole ad blocking is up for debate as it does prevent the publishers from receiving revenue, but ads have become malicious and extremely annoying. I do use ad blockers except I turn it off on some sites to show support. But this is just wrong, because instead of giving the publishers revenue for the ads that they post, the browser will inject their own ads to moreso benefit "brave" and the users. If you are down to viewing ads, you might as well help out who ever publishes it instead of this. Sigh, not to mention this reminds me of the whole "pay to surf" era back in the late 90s.

the numbers might be "meaningless" in your view, but they are still numbers if the user is using the OS. It's like saying that majority of the Android 6.0 numbers are meaningless because those users are forced to upgrade. 23. Something about 'online' password managers really irks me. I've tried lastpass before but didn't really trust it and the plugins became more annoying than useful.
