  1. and now a haiku.

  2. The left-leaning Buzzfeed staff needs to stick to what they do best.....making videos about Britons eating American snacks.

  3. That's the fastest that a mass-less particle can travel through space, not how fast the universe itself can expand.

We don't even know what the medium is outside of the universe (if there even is anything) and even then, our speed of light "speed limit" might not apply there.

Even if the reports are un-substantiated, at this point, it's bad press for the Note 7.

They're making the right move by retiring the SKU before it tarnishes Samsung's reputation further.

  5. Seconded. I actually switched to Hangouts permanently after my move to Linux.

Skype had it's merits, but definitely had it's share of issues on Windows and it is a waste of RAM on linux.

Out of 500 businesses, 6 going under is one of the best track records for any company owner. A 98.8% success rate is pretty damn good, especially when we're talking about the possible future leader of our country.

Realistically as other have said....how much money could Samsung have saved if they had made the battery removable and just sent everyone a replacement battery?

If that's not the issue, then obviously that's not going to solve the problem, but the quest for super thin phones is the cause of these issues. Why make a phone this thin if you're just going to put it in an otterbox?

  12. YES!!!!! Now I can stream Southpark in 4K!

  13. As others have said.....they have many names for this elusive garbage collection in the pacific such as garbage patch and Plastic vortex, and yet, no one actually has a picture of said trash. Just infographics.

  14. Anyone who frequents Amazon has been aware of this issue for some time.

I run in to it all the time since I started working on rebuilding a 50cc Chinese moped using nothing but parts from Amazon. If the reviews on a product look too good to be true, then you need to take a look at the individual reviews and look only at "Amazon Verified Reviews". Those are the people that actually either paid for the product or were selected directly by Amazon to review the product.

It's not really that difficult. In fact, Amazon has a better review system than most other sites do, at least they tell you when the review is verified.

Windows 7 will be several factors harder to kill than XP due to the platform's stability (no thanks in part to M$'s recent efforts), it's huge market share, and the ubiquitous hatred of Win10.
