    Seems some people either didn't watch Mittani *BRAGGING* about trying to drive a guy to suicide, or they think it's funny that Goonswarm make a habit of bullying people.
    They may be raising money for one of their own, but that doesn't mean they're not scumbags.

    I'm curious to know if Goonswarm would have raised money for the family of the guy Mittani was trying to bully into committing suicide.

    Too bad not even the death of someone valued to their own gang will change behavior in the long run.

    Aren't you using a number of sources that you didn't create yourself for your work? Under Youtube's terms you aren't able to monetize that anyway. Or was that one not monetized and the flag just interfered with some of your fully user-created content being blocked from monetization as well?

    A web browser? To *most* people a computer is just another appliance, like a toaster. It might have a few more features, but in the end they want it for a limited set of tasks. Browsing the web, editing photos, collecting/serving media, and a handful of other tools.

    Windows, Linux, OSX all have these tools. It's merely a matter of preference now.

    Here in Canada the tank of milk is sampled before it even leaves the farm. If it's contaminated they get hit with a heavy fine and the tank is dumped, for about 12k+ in losses for a single tank.
    It's in the best interest of the farmer to isolate every cow with mastitis or a high somatic cell count from the line as the testing can easily determine even a small amount of those contaminants.

    I've got that game and haven't really messed with it yet. Looked neat though. Just have a huge backlog of games I haven't played due to the bundles and the holiday sales.

    Read that for a while and your brain will start to hurt. Especially when you realize that one of the accounts she talks to all day long is another one of her accounts with her own pic on it. She's spent two years harassing a friend who is a prof at a University, contacting his employers, and anyone and everyone she can find on Facebook and Twitter that shares a common last name with him.
    I really hope that this "lawyer" isn't as persistent in trying to make Mr. Lee's life a living hell as the Twitter stalker is.

    While your idea of having only the most minimal police presence is a nice wish, the reality would likely be that crime would skyrocket.
    Acts of crime tend to escalate, so if the minor crimes that you don't see worthy of pursuing aren't dealt with it will end up leading to a lot more major crime.
    And good luck getting insurance payouts for "minor" crimes against you like vandalism, burglary, etc. because without a police report your insurer will gladly tell you to piss off.

    Maybe you should pay attention before commenting.
    The calls notified voters that the polling stations had moved. This led to people missing the opportunity to vote because the actual stations were closed by the time the deception was discovered.

    It will be like drug use. Those with money and power will have free access to it with no repercussions. Those with little money and power will be prosecuted.

    Read the claims they make. Investigate their history. And then you realize you can prove they're wrong relatively easily.
    Omnipotent god? How is he surprised that Eve would eat an apple/fig.
    Whales have apartments in them for men to live in for three days?
    Talking donkeys?
    Stoning rape victims to death?
    Vicarious redemption?

    When the claims of a religion are both wrong and outright immoral they can be discounted.
    Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

    And why should religion get any more slack than someone's belief in leprechauns, the superiority of a sports team, or a political party? The belief in an afterlife or X deity?

    What does spiritual even mean? You could be talking crystals, astrology, or talking to dead Aunt Fanny. It's a fallback for "I'm not informed enough to have a position."

    How many people do you know who claim to be followers of the bible that have actually read it? Good luck finding finding one that doesn't have a vested financial interest in it.
    The fastest way out of the religion is to actually read the book.
