yep, GPG signed... the public keys of all the developers are avalible on http://keyring.debian.org normaly, and it still appears to be up anyway. There is also a debian package which contains all the keys too
Yeah someone really should make a cartoon of it like sluggy freelance, or maybe even more simpsons/futurama like.... Wonder what they'll do for the 2nd series though?
Yeah but the really sad thing is the whole world except the UK knows what those damm allegations were, but we cant find out cos no one here is prepared to publish them with that stupid censorship order in place!
For a quick 5 minute calculation on the back of an envolope its not bad. Apparently the guy who did this only got phoned yesterday for an article and now everyone's being interviewed and its on all the online news site and major papers!
Hehe we tend to go for a torch light procession down the roads traditionaly.. and when I say torches I mean sicks with the end on fire, none of that electric nonsense:-)
By that logic though its not infeasable for me to work out the private part of the server's SSL certificate then and do the exact same thing. Except this time I recive the password in clear text instead.
Seriously though, I'd be worried if I was the astronaut/cosmonaut/chinesenaut (or whatever the chinese call theirs) going up and they still hadnt worked out how long I was gonna be in orbit for 1 week before the launch!! Talk about leaving it til the last minute
a long while back now I belive there used to be a copy protection system for records, which involved really high frequency noises being mixed in with the sound, It was if my memory serves me inaudable (but annoyed cats and dogs apparently) but somehow when pirates attempted to make copies (as pirates do) the high frequency noise didnt copy properly with their equiptment and became almost totaly unusable
Yep, I was basicaly forced to help in one of said lessons for "citizenship skills" a while back now, and they are a huge waste of time.
Thankfuly the CS depeartment here are trying to find a sensible balance between only windows and only linux, all thought the reliance on X terminals seems to be conveying the impression that linux/unix is essentialy a gui os.
One thing that did annoy me slightly was an OS lecturer not seeming to known the difference between Linux and GNU/Linux though:-(
They still havent used the new engine yet I thought.... BBC news says that it wont be used until tuesday, but that takeoff (with conventional propulsion) went ok(ish)

Wait.... YOU missed it. Remind me; when did heroin become a recreational drug?
Hehe, my car was made in 1985... I wonder if I've got one of them then, it was after 1984 then after all :-)
I Can fake the certificate just as easily as I can crack the MD5 hash of my password + Random chars though

How is being forced to use SSL instead of MD5 + Random string any more secure?
According to Industry News Nirvana corp has a competing product called the GruntMeiser 7000
